Previous to this expansion we were able to see augmentation evoker dps by using an addon like details which did some calculations to show how much dps an augmentation evoker was doing in your group. Nowadays this isn’t possible anymore with the new restrictions so the only way to see an aug evoker dps is to use an external tool like warcraftlogs combined with combat logs.
I understand that the original concept of augmentation evoker was to show its support capabilities but to me this does seem to conflict with the idea that information should be available in-game and, even if not purely accurate, I think it’s time for dps meters to show how much an aug evoker brings to the group.
Like details did I would suggest to have multiple colors on the same line to show the aug dps and how much of it comes from supporting other players with the dps meter showing the total of it and ranking the augmentation evoker appropriately on it. I’m sure this would help making the game a bit more clear and so people don’t have to use as much external tools to know basic information simply because they play a different specialization.
