I was never much of a raider but am trying to understand how to acquire conduits for my mistweave monk. Do I really have to raid to get my finesse and endurance conduits? There’s no other way or alternatives? 
I’m really hoping I am misunderstood what I read.
You can get many decent ones from the covenant calling rewards and PvP.

Don’t know specifics but you can high lvl ones.
It doesn’t look like you raid, PvP, or run mythic+, so no, you won’t be disadvantaged. You’ll be able to get decent enough conduits from callings/WQs to be able to handle world content.
No, you can get them from the world quests, world bosses, and callings randomly. I check the world quests everyday to see if any reward conduits.
Be sure and put your conduits in as soon as you get them. I didn’t know that and I was getting duplicate low level ones because I was leaving them in my bank. Once I put everything in the soul forge I started getting the higher level ones.

World quests and world bosses will drop many of them. It will just take longer to acquire them since you only get one world boss per week.
I haven’t been very active in SL as of prior to getting this guy to 60. I’ve gotten my 210 legendary and am now moving onto probably mythic dungeons and unrated PvP for gear in hopes of doing M+ And rated PvP.
