You know what it made me do? It made me not raid. I was not willing to swap conduits back and forth several times a week while waiting some arbitrary amount of time to swap again. So instead, I only had my toon for m+ which put me behind in gear.
Conduit energy and any form of time gated player power is stupid and downright bad design. Stop promoting this nonsense. It makes the narcissists developing this game think they made a good choice with it when it was one of the many things they did wrong that made this expansion the worst one they’ve ever crapped out.
