1. What is the name of your guild? Who is your GM?
Flashbang Exports! GM: Flywheel
2. How would you describe your guild’s focus? e.g. Heavy RP, RP/PvE, raiding guild, RP/PvP, social, PvP only
We’re a medium-RP guild, mostly event-based. We do some mythics, raiding, and battlegrounds on the side. Nothing too serious.
3. Please describe your guild’s RP theme (if applicable) e.g. miltary, merchant, racial, undead, pirates etc
Flashbang Exports is a goblin-exclusive, racial-themed guild. We RP as a merchant company by the same name. We specialise in producing explosives, fireworks, and potions that go boom. We are EXPERT azerite handlers. We also provide pyrotechnic displays for parties!
4. Please indicate your guild’s RP alignment (if applicable) e.g. Horde-aligned, Neutral, good, evil/dark, lighthearted
Horde-aligned, with occasional neutral sympathies. The guild is about half Bilgewater, and half Steamwheedle. Our RP is lighthearted. We have a wide variety of alignments, mostly chaotic, often morally grey, verging on dark, but very rarely do we play as goody-goods.
5. How does your guild feel about Sylvanas as warchief and current Horde storylines?
As a guild, we back her completely. She pays the bills, after all. Behind her back, we might complain about her or call her silly names. what did you expect? We’re goblins.
6. When would you consider your peak activity times, and how many people do you generally have online at once?
The demographic of our guild is mostly age 30+. We have lots of parents. We also have lots of Australians. So our peak times are later than most, generally around 8pm-11pm server. We also have a second, smaller peak from about 2am-5am, which are our Oceanic folks. The number varies, usually at least 4, sometimes up to 15 people.
7. How long has your guild been around i.e. when was it established?
We just celebrated our 1st birthday! We are approximately one year old.
8. Do you have any regular or scheduled activities or events? When are they, and how are they advertized?
Yes, we run about 2 RP events per week, as well as other PvE/PvP stuff. We aim for the peak times, mentioned above. Events are posted in the in-game calendar, as well as on discord. We also host public community events.
9. Are you currently recruiting? If so, what sort of members are you looking for?
Absolutely! We’ll take anyone, as long as they’re a goblin. Class-wise, we’re pretty balanced. So whatever you like within the 8 classes available. Alts are welcome, but they also must be goblins to be allowed to join the guild. We have a sister guild where people can dump their non-goblin alts if they’d like to.
10. Do you have an application process? Who should people contact if they want to join?
Nope, we’re very relaxed. Being goblin-exclusive is a surprisingly good filter. If you’d like to join, just message anyone from the guild in game, and they can /ginvite you. If there’s no one online, jump into our discord server, and we’ll sort you out from there. Guild recruiting does not need to go through an officer.
11. What are your future visions for this guild?
We’re pretty much living the dream right now! I’d love to host some big community events. I’d also like to try and increase the numbers of goblins on our server, even if not in guild. We’re sitting at about 6% goblins at the moment. 10% would be awesome!
