Requiring people be exactly level 35 just because that’s where our level would have been at during the time of the scenario back then with scaling in mind, is just way too specific. I hope they can fix this because it was thought at the beginning of Remix that the mini mana bomb wasn’t even in there.

I did it at 35, its only avail at level 35 and my issue was completing the event at 35 caused me to level to 36 and not get the stuff. Like i was level 35 when the last boss was pulled and killing it caused me to level at the very same time i gained the qachievement - thats why im frustrated.

Almost like if the server recognised the achievement before the level in the same server tick i would have gotten it.

I went into the scenario at 20% into level 35. There was a level 14 Druid and another level 35, as well, who was a Warlock. The Druid recognized why we were there and reminded us to remove our capes. So we did.

The Warlock said he only had 1k XP before he leveled, so the Druid told him to zone out. We duoed the first phase on the boats and half the second phase.

The Warlock zoned back in after the Druid gathered everything up into the basement, where we singled out the boss and looted the key, then completed the scenario and got our achievement. Without the cloak, you get almost no XP and since the Druid didn’t kill anything until after the scenario was completed, we were safe from leveling.

Similar can be done with a group of friends who can skirt around most of the trash or stealth. Just make sure that the moment you hit 35 on an alt, you immediately run the scenario without the cape.

That is, if you don’t want to wait for Blizz to fix it.

Why do you say that everything I said doesn’t make sense?

I didnt say you didnt make sense (although I found it difficult to understand you) I said its common for people to not make sense here as in…something of a joke?

ok… Well, in any case, I am referring to the nerfs that Blizzard has made to a short-term event such as a 3-month mini classic expansion such as the MoP Remix.

Something like not only the problem of not testing a free broken gameplay system and the exploit, now the experience that should have existed as is in retail expansion when it was around 2012 is removed like a simple toy.

Now with this there is nothing more to wait for the MoP Classic than if it is better as long as we no longer see these behaviors from Blizzard in searching for nerf everything ruining the game experience than avoiding the abusive grinding.

It is a short term time-limited event. It does not have all the features of either the current retail or a potential Classic version of MoP. There are no professions, few of the pets, no auction house (no economy system at all beyond what you earn in things like Bronze). Some of the factions have no purpose (the Anglers, the Lorewalkers), there is no Sunsong Ranch and you can’t do anything to earn the items from the Anglers. The list goes on.

It was intended for a rather linear gameplay towards being overpowered and earning a collection of cosmetics while you levelled up one or more more characters.

Yes, it has bugs, lots of them. Yes, they overlooked certain changes that should have been made to do things like remove the Lesser charms and other stuff from rapidly respawning mobs (their fault, not the players, in my opinion).

I have no real desire to play though a full Classic version of MoP. I did that when MoP was live and I don’t need to do it again.

So you can see, just in case, that I am not the only one who did not experience the MoP expansion during retail, even if it was on a private or pirate server, which we do need even though others have already played in retail.

Anyway, there are reasons that Blizzard should have done before before making some community angry with those nerf changes when some felt it was fun and Blizzard was right… But.

Anyway, I forgot to thank you for understanding my bad English, it’s difficult to speak two languages but I get used to it.

Personally my main issue with all of this is the tabard is not account wide. It should be purchasable by my other toons as well considering the bomb is now account wide for every Horde player.

The moment you hit 35, que for it. Nothing in there will push you to 36 if you aren’t close already.

Well, if you wait long enough they will probably release a Classic MoP and then you can experience it as close to the original version as we can do nowadays.

Incorrect. I qued at 35 needing 25k exp to 36 - completing the event caused me to level to 36 a seconds before i got the achievement, Check my screenshot.

Did you loot the enemies? Some of them drop items that contribute to experience so, besides taking off the cloak, you also can’t loot anything. I did it on a timerunner immediately when they dinged 35 and after completing the scenario, it only covered half her experience bar so I received the achievement and received the tabard in the mail.
