Complaining about level 70 boost - seriously?

An irrelevant point is no point at all.

Not an argument, but go off.

You’re arguing a point that does not exist the time sink is the same with or without the boost.

Wanting something to exist just to complain about it no matter how much it means to you isn’t going to make it a valid point.

So either you are saying the time to level and get to ilvl 424 doesn’t exist, or you’re saying Diablo Immortal isn’t pay2win. And I believe you will be the first to say that.

They already get higher rep than the characters I play have.

This isn’t Diablo Immortal no matter how much you want it to be.

Same. But I don’t really care about having the rep. I have it, but wasn’t going to farm it.

Again you aren’t arguing against my point. You are just using half insults to hide the fact you can’t prove me wrong.

So again. go off queen.

The rep doesn’t give you anything so it’s not like you get anything extra.

I had 2100 in pvp, and 3k in m+ last season, and even I don’t have the 25 renown they are selling with the boost. lol

What point? You don’t have one. You are just here to complain about nothing.

Thank you for proving my point.

I disagree. It unlocks all kinds of gear purchases, cosmetics, open world features, etc. I need level 23 rep to learn dragonkin taming on my hunter. I’m still a few levels away.

Oh, so you’re just making up definitions for ‘pay to win’. I see.

This is an apples -vs- oranges comparison. Boost is what? $60. Time to level last time I did it was about 24 hours played for me. To go from start to getting into LFR. I took my time and had the following:

  • Max level 3 garrison.
  • Legion Dalaran portal
  • Significant mine/herb progress in the expansions where I gathered
  • Enough gold to pay my way and have enough to buy a couple of pieces to get over the LFR iLvl requirement.

When I started the char my tailor sent 4 bags. Everything else I picked up on the way. I had a great time.

I did no instanced content to level.

I had a lot of fun.

Getting geared to the point to LFR isn’t hard. Paying $60 to skip 24 hours… is insignificant.

Yes, I know that there are people that can level a whole lot faster.

I addressed your point you just didn’t like that you were told that you moved the goalpost of what pay to win was.

So as I said earlier, are you saying that Diablo Immortal isn’t P2W. Because all you are doing is paying to speed up the game. You can’t outright buy gear from the store that makes you a god?

I said from the beginning P2W has always included pay to skip. It’s the most popular kind. I haven’t moved anything. If P2W is ONLY buying gear from the store than there are very few P2W games, and that includes Diablo Immortal which is why i brought it up in the first place.

Paying for power is pretty much the definition of pay to win… The only argument I can see being made is that it may not “win” you the game instantly.

But that’s an even worse position to take, because then you’re talking about paying not-to-lose rofl

Pay to skip is an entirely different thing from pay to win. That is outright moving a goalpost just to have an argument. Which it seems all you want is an argument .
