Comparing solo Delves performance between classes

So here is my experience playing other classes in solo on tier 8 delves. Mind you my non-mage alts were much lower ilvl than my mage/guardian druid.

  • Mage is actually mid-tier. With cooldowns stuff went down fast with little damage to my mage. Survivability tricky but doable when CDs off cooldown.
  • Guardian druid was easy, but slow due to low dps.
  • Enhancement shaman was more difficult than mage, but with Braan as healer was on par.
  • Resto shaman was a disaster.
  • Affliction warlock was probably the easiest.

BTW, I switched Braan to a healer on my mage now that my ilvl is higher and its makes things really easy now.

Anyhow, my skill level on each on my alts varies greatly. What are your experiences playing other classes on tier 8 delves?

I’ve done them on arcane mage, affliction warlock, and WW monk. The monk had by far the easiest time doing them, even 30 ilvls below the recommended. Then warlock, then mage. None of them were particularly hard though and all very doable.

Fire isn’t that all that bad with decent-ish gear. A bit smoother as Frostfire for the slows/SKB/procs vs. waiting for Combust to come back to do anything.

Between blink, alter, barrier, Ice Cold, mass barrier’d mirror images, and an emergency Invis reset, we’re pretty good on defensives, and can burn the boss down pretty fast with lust. Was definitely still a little dicey at lower ilvl though.
