I’m having the same issue. I had a Lg G7 thinq on tmobile network and app worked fine. Changed phone to the OnePlus 7 pro and only works on Wifi.
*I uninstalled the app and re-downloaded, no fix
*Cleared cache data and saved data, no fix
*Contacted Tmobile I worked with someone 2 days in a row and he escalated to next level support and they said nothing is wrong on their end.
So from what I am seeing the problem is with the app itself.

Yes I am able to log in on my co-workers phone and he has a sprint line.
I have the same problem on S9+ and TMobile but let’s be realistic… What is TMobile going to do? If we call them and get a level one support person they’ll look in their instruction manuals and it will say restart the device, clear cache, etc. They aren’t going to do packet traces through their network to find why it isn’t working. However, if a large company contacted TMobile perhaps you could get a network engineer and work together to figure it out.

We still encourage reaching out to T-Mobile in case they have started looking into this on their end as well. It makes communicating between us and T-mobile much easier when we both understand the impact of the issue.
Just started seeing this problem today. App won’t connect via the T-Mobile cell data network but works just fine on Wi-fi. I will file a report with them.
I’ve been having this same issue since the last update on my Samsung Galaxy S9 and S7. I also have T-mobile. If I use my S9 as a Hotspot and connect on the S7, the S7 can then use the app. But using mobile data directly on either makes me unable to connect.
