nothing? The regular loot tables?
For the most part this would just be something the players could go do if they so wished.
Timewalking weeks would still be a thing and that could be further implemented for timewarped loot.

I just want more AI brawls
As it stands I rarely do normal BGs (0 this xpac, think 5 in BFA) and I don’t do the other brawls. I’m sure there’s others like me, opening up AI versions of the other brawls would at least get me to do each brawl.
I know I don’t. I used to back in the day, but not anymore. And another great bonus with comp stomp is it keeps scrubs like me out of PvPer’s games. I mean, yeah, I’m free honor to the other side but I’m a liability to my own team. Real PvP is better off without players like me and this way we can feel like we kinda can do some “PvP” and we can get our marks of honor for playing dress up.
I would love a “bot” version of all the battlegrounds, if for nothing else finally hitting exalted on those reputations. Yes I know its basically worthless but when you are aiming for 80 exalted, its pretty easy to get this way.
Ive played a lot of PVP but still enjoy the faceroll comp stomp
Take a joke, bruh. Yeezus.
lmfao I know right? Don’t worry bro, telling people to gitgud is the clearest path for new players.
QUIT IT! STOP THAT NOW! SLAPS HAND Don’t ask for comp stomp to be harder. This is marks of honor week. It’s easy for a reason.
…I didn’t ask for it to be harder.
Someone above did. I didn’t bother replying directly. Not you friend.
This made me sad to read
i’m sorry you feel that way. I wish pvp was more accessible and no one had to feel worthless
what does “gitgud” have to do with allocating certain rewards to certain content? You’re such a bad troll but you got me replying. lol
Don’t be sad. I don’t feel worthless, I just know I’m butt at PvP and I don’t want to inflict that buttness on my team. I got other things to do in the game, so it’s all good.
Indirectly, if you wanted to make comp stomp actually something that would encourage folks to PvP, you have to tune it to be close to what they could expect, so it would have to be harder.

I don’t though - and this might be too much nuance for GD - but Comp Stomp shouldn’t change.
Comp Stomp is the model for how we implement an AI stepping stone to PVP.
Has a feelin they will be doing more with the comp stomp feature eventually. The ai will continue to improve also. Not just in this game, but in all videogames. And hey the way this game is losing players, they might not have a choice but to go the artificial intelligence route
When a loser player leaves a losing battle, they should only be replaced by OP comps. Do not port a player into a losing battle.
Comp stomp players are very efficient in interupting spells, heals and damage. They are very good at sapping. Seriously, give them some stats and they will rule.

So you want to add another AI pvpish mode? Either way, it’s still be harder than comp stomp which would turn people off.
There should be gradations. But yes, there’s no possible system to would have a 100% conversion rate.
It’s definitely an interesting idea. I’d love to have more comp stomp at the current difficulty, but I doubt I’d do it at close to player difficulty
would love more npc stuff in the game as other mmo’s have done
companion npc’s that can tank or heal, full npc groups in dungeons to avoid long q times, can just keep stretching it for pve content
in pvp these devs need to do a lot better, the bots made by honorbuddy were 10x better at pvp
I don’t believe this is true.
What comp stomp is right now is a temporary catch up grind created from an existing event, just as Korrak’s Revenge (the first one) was intended as a leveling catch up. I really don’t think it’s any more than that.
I personally think they should have a “classic bgs” category scaled for all to play (10+) with templates like the first Korrak’s Revenge version. So Korrak’s Revenge, Warsong Gulch, and Arathi Basin to be played by groups of friends regardless of their actual level or gear, with modest rewards, depending on the player level.
