Give me back Comp Stomp Blizz.
I heard on another site that people were using this comp thing to farm a lot of echoes or something. Like, an absurd amount. So rather than fix it I guess Blizzard just decided to get rid of it until Shadowlands.
I mean, you can still solo queue for Arathi Basin if you’re really broken up about this. Unless you’re just afraid of fighting opponents that your addons don’t tell you how to fight…

That’s the problem. I am betting most people who are really disappointed in this are alliance because unless you do the sort of cheating method, alliance doesn’t have a hope in heck of winning many of the normal bgs.
And of course, in this thread you have horde ready to tell everyone to do PvP for PvP rewards - it would be a different story if they lost 80% of the bgs.
I’m horde and deeply disappointed in this. I have no interest in PvP content, just want my rank 3 BotE for PvE content. That’s the problem with the “just do PvP for PvP rewards” crap…Blizz has tuned a PvP essence to be BiS in PvE content for a bunch of dps specs, then removed the only PvE source for it with no warning and no communication to players about it until after they were called out on twitter.

It’s true though. It’s a form of PVE and that’s all you should get his garbage PVE for garbage easy PVE content. They are so easy I would rather do a heroic dungeon
Did Blizz ever explain why comp stomp went poof?
To summarize some of the opinions that support them changing it after it was already up:
“If you like it, you suck.”
Comp Stomp was my best bet for getting HKs for the 1000 HKs hidden artifact skin requirement.

there aren’t any real pvp rewards, just mediocre or crap pve gear while the top tier pvp gearing comes 100% from pve
so it basically doesn’t matter what anyone is doing for pvp gearing right now
Blizz is really taking the term “exploit early, exploit often” to new heights when you have to get your non-exploit content finished before it goes away!
