Community vs Isolation

Solo + random groups.

I sadly don’t have anyone I’d consider a friend IRL other than a select few family members and the wife anymore, and she does not play WoW, thankfully, otherwise she’d most likely obsess over it to the point of becoming world first. (I kid you not, that’s how dedicated she is to things she enjoys. We’re both kinda in the spectrum).
The in-game friends I used to have, have long since quit WoW.

I’m not too keen on social interactions either, though I don’t shun them, so I keep chugging along as I can.

Also, I don’t have a fixed schedule to play, nor would I want it, so it’s really unlikely to find someone that plays at the same times as I do. I’d have to have a huge mix of friends, or be in a big, unfocused guild/community with people that actively want group interaction.

And I’m on a “dead” server with usually unskilled players, so I have no desire to find anyone, really. LFR/LFD is good enough for my current grouping needs.

I do miss regularly raiding and having a group to do random stuff with though.

I find it more fun to interact on the forums than in game, for the lack of the “time sync” requirement, but whenever asked for help in-game, if I can, I do my best to assist.
