I have not hit any XP mission nerf…

Unless you’re talking about people who muscled through the adventure progression quests and no longer receive them.

That’s not a nerf really. Just an unfortunate circumstance,.

We passed that point long ago, my friend. You need addons just to figure out what gear to wear these days.

Clearly some of us take it a little more seriously than others. But I’m just a filthy casual who only plays five or six hours a day most of the time lol

You really don’t need “deep college educations” to figure out the command table lol. It shows you exactly which enemies will attack your dudes, and it shows you exactly which enemy your dudes will attack.

As for the difficulty advancement…it tells you the level of the mission, and it’s not really that hard to figure out that you should probably not try to rush the advancement beyond the level of your people. I started to do that, and realized it was going to get rough so I held off on that and am levelling my people up before I start pushing progression again.

I’m not saying that it’s completely the most perfect thing ever, but it’s definitely not ANGRY WALL OF TEXT broken…it’s a reasonably fun little minigame. Chill.

The “bug fix” for Night Fae really messed up the NF adventure table system. Before the “bug fix”, I could win battles via attrition (my guys would last longer than the enemy due to the damage reduction done by the trappers). Now my guys are being wiped off the board before they can kill any of the enemy troops. My missions average between level 31 and 38, my adventurers are in the mid to upper 30s with 2 at 40 and a couple below 30 (recent recruitments) and my troops are level 35. Before the nerf I could send out every adventurer on their own with 4 trappers (or perhaps with a low level guy to help level them) and have a pretty high success rate. After the nerf I might possibly beat one or two level 31/32 missions with my level 40 guys and everyone else just gets sent on suicide missions to help level them up because none of my adventurers do enough damage to kill the enemy minions before everyone gets wiped out (the Night Fae troops don’t do much damage, their abilities are what made them useful).

Basically, the Night Fae table pre-nerf was probably a bit broken with how easy it was. Post-nerf just shows that the Night Fae setup was just as broken as Kyrian and Venthyr (or worse) and it was only the apparent bug that was making it usable.

poor Kythekios seems to get it in the face A LOT. the other hero who seems to take a massive beating relative to the other heroes is CROMAN! As a member of team 2, I will send them on an XP mission and while the others may lose 10-30%, CROMAN! seems to drop to 50%. I do not have him in the top left, that’s Meatball’s spot. I usually have him top middle.

I keep telling CROMAN! to put on some pants but he doesn’t listen.

Can we go back to the mindless mission table in bfa. We got too many chores already.

One thing that I rely on Venture Plan the most is to tell me which positions being attacked by which enemy. I was surprised that top left is sort of the main tank spot, and top right doesn’t lose any HP sometimes. Certainly the addon is only a prediction, and has margin of errors. So I am moving the followers around to maximize their remaining HPs.

Another thing I noticed is the level 36 campaign mission on the Kyrian table is definitely a trap. I felt my level 31s can beat it and the pet reward is so irresistible. Don’t fall for it, fellow Kyrians, until you outlevel it significantly.

After using that addon, I’ve come to realize that the mission level has nothing whatsoever to do with its difficulty, and that’s part of the problem. If it really worked the way you described, it would be fine. Since it doesn’t, you’re just kidding yourself when you say that all is well with the mission table.

Not talking about that. I’ve had no more than 1 or 2 show up in the last few weeks, down from 3-5.

All companions are in their low 20s.

This.

The “difficulty” is caused by Venthyr champs being weaker and Night Fae Champs being stronger.

They recently did some buffs for Venthyr, so they may not be quite as underpowered now.

Wasted all of that money! I’m sure your parents couldn’t be more proud!

Joking aside, if they wanted you to have 100% success rate, an addon wouldn’t be needed in the slightest. Grind your companions level up is the name of the game.

lol - this is so true…I just fill all the slots and press start and it somehow works…

hahahahaha…I feel targeted…hahahaha

I understand now.

I kid you not when I say I see from 6-7 XP quests per day.

What you need to do is to cycle through the rotation of quests. Instead if waiting for quests to expire - you need to complete them - pass or fail, whether you want to do them or not - and get them off the books to rotate in the next batch of quests.

I have been doing this all day, every day for weeks now. It’s how I have been able to power level my troops in to the 50s; Kleia DINGED 51 last night.

(It will take over 16,000XP to get her to 52…)

IOW play WoW on your phone.

I thought this was a PC game?

This needs to be removed not fixed.

TBF does it matter?

Grinding is grinding.

Advancement is advancement.

You cannot make an omelet without breaking some eggs, any cook will tell you that!

:fried_egg:

*my phone alarm is set at midnight and at 4am…i run everyone and everything as much as I can, as often as I can…unless I sleep through my alarm lol

And that’s a problem with SL. The only way to win the game is actually not to play it at all. There’s no way to win once you start other than just about killing yourself.

Well again that’s on me. Not everyone is so OCD as I am. I want to be the first Kyrian on here to have a hero reach level 60 (or at least be one of the first).

Most people here could not care less.
