So looking into low apm class but want to have easier time soloing (also good with ST and AOE wise) to 60 which is more forgiving and chill time able to get into M+ (2>10 key) and raiding contents and also do well in pvp ?
Feral Druid due to having selfheals is very nice and also so many tools to escape and flight form while questing <3
whatever u find cool dude, spec doesn’t start to matter until like 15 keys anyway. might be harder to get into groups as a feral / assassination rogue
mm hunter is really low apm too if you like high numbers!
I ~think~ assassin is lower apm than feral!
Not sure how thatll be in dragonflight, tho
He didnt ASKED for Hunter’s bro … MM seems boring AF but maybe try Rogue unless your one of those people who hates getting ganked in pvp constently ?
Druid.
My reason is they can play all roles, so if you get serious you won’t get completely stuck with a single role and can find a group/guild/community easier to play with.
i’d go with the rogue since i don’t ever see any feral druid around… i assume there’s a reason for that.
Like vanish? Oh, that’s rogue.
Coming from a druid let me tell you, feral sucks.
I don’t care if feral has the highest ST and AOE damage by 10% over every other melee DPS, the spec sucks and is just so unfun to play.
Rogue is what you’re looking for.
Can confirm. It’s one of the reasons I like MM.
Feral has big numbers too with bites.
What about Balance Druid ?
Balance is fun to play, even if we do ‘low’ DPS and that’s subjective because I generally get near top DPS in my guilds raid, you can’t really compare to top players to the average raiding guild as we all know there are bad players in every spec and getting that top DPS isn’t easy for your average player.
But just playing ranged is easier and better than playing feral with how the game is currently and how feral is designed. So much to dodge, than you need to watch your dots on all enemies while playing dodgeball, you have energy regen issues, it’s just too stressful to get the most out of feral that playing balance is like a walk in the park even if you do less DPS.
If it’s just those two specs that you’re considering in isolation from all the other rogue and druid specs then I think assassination seems a bit more fun and was very overpowered in PvP recently (but they got nerfed so I’m not sure if they still are)
Feral is super squishy and heavily reliant on self healing, whereas rogue has a myriad of tools to avoid damage or simply vanish when things take a turn for the worse.
I also find that the ramp up with feral means you rarely get to see the full damage potential whilst you are levelling, but with rogue you can burst immediately - it feels a lot more satisfying.
The counter argument is that druids have flight form which sometimes feels like a cheat mode, and can switch to guardian to take down mobs that a rogue could only dream of soloing.
I enjoy druid more than rogue. Flight form is very useful for World content. You’ll be surprised how much quicker some quests are when you can collect items without dismounting.
Night elf can stealth from shadowmeld, a close to vanish as druids get.
The only negative is that animals forms can get tiring to look at sometimes.
Assass is always good in PVP, lots of burst damage and a good escape plan.
Depends on how you like to play. PvE I recommend all classes but not all Class specs!
Ask the PvP experts here which Class specs they recommend for PvP.
