old player coming back, my first season ever in Arena was S3 TBC.
I hate the idea of leveling to 70 as Resto Druid, but thats what I want to practice. Can I level in BGs etc?
There is no leveling in tbc bgs. You’ll have to quest. I am not sure how populated the low level dungeons are at this point so dungeon leveling would probably take forever. You’ll just have to level like normal and then practice in BGs while you honor farm for your gear.
Keep in mind you get dual spec at level 40. You can run a DPS / Healer split and you can que up for both in dungeons and see which pings first
It’s pretty easy to find groups for leveling dungeons. The populations are quite large.
Bg leveling came more in wrath coding. Soonest we see it would be wrath prelude if we get there.
Maybe even this time they won’t mess up the schedule. For classic prelude week 1 the CTA weekend bg was…..IOC. IOC wasn’t up as a bg yet.
No. No activity in bgs while leveling. and the activity at max level is not super active either.
Reason:
while leveling: low population, also boosts are paid (thanks blizzard for allowing that so people can skip content, thats super healthy for the game)
max level: repetitive, boring, gimmicky (rogues…mages…cough cough)
Dad/Mom gamers. No time for that. waste of time and not super fun and low reward. basically log on to raid or to farm for raids is the plan. Time doesnt allow for more than that. And even if it did, would it be fun to be completely 100-0 by a rogue in a bg? No. so watch netflix.
