Realistically I’d just like them to add height sliders at character creation so we’re not all the same size, but then give Colossus Warriors a 40% increase on top of that. That way they’re always bigger than even the largest among their race, but other people can still be bigger / smaller if they want to.
Absolutely this! WoW has character customization standards from the late 1990’s. It’s terrible.

That would be too much unless blizz changed terrain hit boxes of every door or changed player hitboxes to not change even if we grow in size but id love to be 20% cause for most races that be a whole foot in height or more original height of same race would come up to our shoulders but if they fixed collision hitboxes to be fixed size then id want 50% for colossus and 40% is too low. But without any changes i want 20%.

pretty much i did scaling math and 20% would put your dwarf friends at about your shoulders 10% would be the min to be noticable you be a forhead taller
And yet in many way’s I’m smaller by a bit. At least as a human to other humans.
You won’t be able to if your a Zandalari Troll. At least not without fazing.
