Collector's Edition Shipping Dates?

DF CEs are now $500 on ebay. Nice job on the narrative that Blizzard wants to stop real money trades outside of the game. They purposefully did not release any CEs this time to retailers and the CE is sold out thanks to scalpers who are asking between $250 to $500 on ebay.

How exactly were they going to stop people from selling them elsewhere?

They’re already shipping. My roommate received his yesterday.

Not sure it is the general case, but I got the email say 3 days ago, and yesterday it arrived. By chance when one receives the email does it arrive for others within a few days afterwards and thus why some have not received the email yet perhaps?

Not the question you should ask. The question you should ask is "Why make so little numbers so you are guaranteed to sold out instead of better gauging the interest and allowing other retailers to sell them. Multiple retailers provides means to obtain when main retailer has run out of them.

Scalpers are selling them at $500 because they know Blizzard is out of them. If other retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Target, BestBuy, Gamestop and the like had stocks you would not have before the expansion is even released CEs sold at 3 to 4 times what it is worth.

It’s a CE. It was going to be sold out regardless. And we don’t know the numbers, do we?

I’m just a little worried they somehow “sold out” or something before starting to ship mine, as I’m reading on.

CE is nothing to do with the game or RMT. It is just merch.

I never received my Shipping Confirmation email; so just legit check your mail every day (I got mine Thursday).

So just keep an eye out!

In Europe we began to received them since 4 - 5 days but we got a serious issue: Many boxes were damaged thanks to a poor packaging from Blizzard Gear.

Really disappointing considering how much we have to pay the port.

Still no CE here (in US), ordered in October.

I tried chat multiple (5-6) times. I was only able to contact someone twice, both times I had the “wrong department”. I also used the Contact Us form, emailed support and called. Twice I was number one in the queue and then it went to voicemail.

So it’s launch day and no CE.
