Collecting and Dress up

Since when does “game of the 2000s” mean vanilla only? Tbc and wotlk existed pre 2010

2000s is quite literally 2000-2009

I don’t even…

Making characters look good is so much better than running around in clown suits. I turned my transmog off and forgot how awful the gear clashes if you don’t just wear full sets (like you did back in the day).

It is funny seeing someone who hates transmog, though. I always wonder if there are any good reasons to hate it and I still have yet to find one. Super glad it’s in the game because it’s the only content the game has once you’re done with instanced content.

Edit: Peak TBC look:

Not to mention, WoW came out in late 2004…

That’s an insult to clowns, they got drip usually especially compared to wow gear without it transmogrified.

Their two different games? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

That’s like asking “i wonder why people stick with Far Cry instead of playing The Stanley Parable”.

You clearly do though.

Care about what Nui said.

You do know there’s more then just that, right? I mean it sounds like you’re being purposely ignorant here.

And nothing on this planet or universe is permanent. We will all be sun food one day. /s

And your point being?..

Didn’t you essentially called the game bad but you’re still paying for it?..

That’s what everybody says when we saw that comment above to Briselody.

If you’ve been on the forums for the past few years, you would know by now there’s more to do on WoW then just boosting and collecting…

The dark ages. :disappointed:

I’m sorry, they actually make a “BEWARE VERY BAD GAME” news? What?

Oh wait, you mean something like “GTA vice city causes gun violence” that sort of thing?

Yeah, we have a name for those sorts of people who do reports on something like that. We call them “Jack Thompson”.

Of an MMO sort, once, and it was back when the franchise was in 2.5D in the isometric view: The Sims Online. It’s shut down now.

I think the Sims 3 has multiplayer of sorts, but i’ve never used it. I don’t know about The Sims 4, so somebody else will tell ya that.

You kidding? Ion has all but dedicated an army to his whole esports fetish thing he has going on and keeps trying to push on everyone, for every new expac/patch/whatever.

Hell, WoW’s South Park episode aired in Oct 2006, before Burning Crusade came out the following January. It was apparently SP’s highest rated mid-season premier in six years (3.4 million viewers), and even won an Emmy.

I’m talking about the old look how addicting this game is! news they would make and claim that it’s worse for you than methamphetamine

Literally anything can be addicting and bad for you when used too much.

Yes, I remember seeing news reports like this, and not just about WoW.

Transmog and collecting are great for the game. It keeps old content relevant. Most people do it after they are done with their weekly chores.

For a school project we had to pick an illness to make an informative health brochure for and i went with gaming addiction, and every information source was about wow lol

This was like a 2007/2008 junior high project

and you talk to non-games now and they’ll know that fornite is a game but that is it.

amongst gamers WoW was the flavor of the month… the best that there was at the time. but other games have come out and created a niche for themselves and cater to some players… that is factual. If it wasn’t we’d still have 12-13M players.

about a 94.7% chance of my quitting the game within a week.
Mog hunting is literally the only constant in this game I enjoy enough to keep playing.

We can quit anytime we want, dammit!

You can call me whatever you want to call me buddy. I’ve seen your posts. I know how you are, I know how Rihelle is. Why people like you 2 are able to stay here without bans is beyond me.

People like you and Rihelle are the reason others don’t want to be known on these forums. Lol

collecting mogs is the ONLY thing I enjoy doing and making fun new sets.

I actually only push high M+ keys to KSM level each season so I can gear up to solo harder “old” content to farm more transmog that I don’t have.

In the words of the eagles… you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave

Because we haven’t done anything to warrant a ban. Your outdated rumors were even put to rest by the person who started them and apologized for making false claims. I’m actually friends now with that person.

I came in here to give actual feedback and you’re the one attacking others. Might want to think about that.
