I cant even fit my ears in anything without horrible malformations.
Then my earings sometimes just float mid air where my ears used to be…

Clipping in WoW is a way of life. It’s just how it’s always been-- and they’d have to redesign 90% of shoulderpads and helmets to NOT clip.

Get used to it. Games like WoW will ALWAYS have clipping. Always. Even on ‘normal’ races, there is clipping, though not as extreme.
There are just some things that can’t really be fixed very easily, especially when it comes to an MMO where it’s more than just your character running around.
Sure, you could add more items that remove clipping parts… Like how some helmets lop off NE ears… But I feel that’s even more awkward… And even then, there are still items that clip, like cloaks, belts, shoulders, and other things depending on the animations being played.

I always keep my helm hidden due to this very reason. That and most headgear looks bad. Everything looks so much better without headgear.
I can’t think of a single mmorpg where there is no clipping.
The real absolute disaster here is that WoW does not support inverse kinematics. That’s the real torture.
Letting people disable eyebrows, hair, ears, etc lets players fix this own their own.
Sometimes I got a hat that would look great without hiding my hair, but it still makes me bald because some hairstyles would clip horribly with it. I get punished cause I don’t have control over what is displaying on my own character.
The “hide cloak, hide helm” options once existed in the menus before transmogging was a thing. I say replace that now empty area of the options with hiding troublesome bodyparts instead.
Elder Scrolls Online has inverse kinematics. I have them on and it’s terrifying. It’s a cool idea, but so far it needs more polish - the upper body doesn’t really mirror the lower body, which just makes the physics unrealistic.
Also, if Blizzard did this, I shudder to think about how badly they would implement it.
