I use smoke signals from the top of a mountain which gets converted into Egyptian hieroglyphs by 3 mute midgets, sent via pony express to another continent, deciphered by a newborn using string and horse feathers, buried in a time capsule, dug up and placed in a bottle thrown into the ocean, retrieved by a blind golden retriever, burned with a witch, resurrected using blood magic and Rocky Road ice cream, conveyed into Morse code by a legless chicken using a Commodore 64, faxed to my doctor who passed away 30 years ago, put on a floppy drive, emailed to a roller coaster, picked up by the milkman, dropped off at my door, connect it to my Gameboy, use gameshark to decipher the code, WinRar (honest I paid for it) to uncompress, enter code into keyboard using com port 2.

My guildies were surprised Iām a clicker. But I meanā¦ Iāve been doing this for 15 years. Donāt wanna change now.
Iāll never for the life of me understand why people are proud to be super suboptimal in all forms of content. Itās fine if you donāt wanna bother to learn how to do something. Thatās different. But acting like you should be proud of actively hindering yourself is beyond me.
If you ever wanna learn, lemme know. Iāll give you a keybinding run down. Guaranteed, life will become easier.
I use a handful of keybinds for pet abilities, but thatās really it. It makes me happy to play the way I am comfortable.

I have 22 binds (apparently) from ` through to backspace plus all the punctuation on the right of the keyboard. Everything else I click, mostly itās stuff like food or buffs that I donāt need to hit like Iām Johnny-on-the-spot regardless. I do not believe in pressing multiple keys, I will be faster and more accurate clicking than trying to contort my fingers into ctrl+whatever.

Iām gonna be that guy, and Iām sorry. But this is scientifically proven false. You are not faster clicking than you would be using a modifier such as shift or ctrl. In all instances, in every situation, keybinding (even with a modifier) will be faster than clicking. The reason is because of the travel time with your mouse + eye movement, and cognitive recognition. It will also get you killed more often.
Not being rude, just being honest. Youāre fully entitled to play how you want. And I respect that. But you are not faster clicking than you would be using a modifier, and thatās speaking to actual limitations / fact. Click cause you wanna, go forth and prosper. But donāt think itās because youāre faster.
Also, other fun fact: you do not need to contort your fingers to hit ctrl. You can use the free real estate of your palm.

Okay, very thorough response. I respect that. I suppose I do it that way because I simply prefer it, Iāve tried modifiers and I donāt like 'em. I only play for enjoyment so I guess itās all good, I wasnāt spreading misinformation so much as saying that I suck at modifiers so it could entirely be true for me personally that I can click better than modify. Maybe even not, but itās kind of irrelevant since I donāt do high end content.
I mean for the sake of the argument lets say it does make me die when I couldāve potentially not. Dying in LFR means a smoke break and, knowing my luck, a greater probability that I get a drop. I never try to die, but Iām not that concerned if I do. Unless itās every single pull or something awful like that, I hope you grasp my meaning.
Iām definitely not gonna modify a key for arcane intellect or mage food or anything like that, Iāll click that once an hour or even less. Thatās all I really meant, some things are so time inconsequential (ie done out of combat) that, at least to me, they are not in any way worth a bind.

Sure, and I get this. I donāt bind my mount, or my fortitude either. Iām not saying you should. Iām merely saying in the event that Blizzard adds more keybinds (cause they added a lot with this expansion), it might be worth it.
Something a lot of people donāt even take into account funnily enough is binding their F keys! F1-F4 is an actual life saver.

1-5 I use the keyboard. Anything past that and Iām usually clicking.
Oh for sure, F keys I can get behind. I have extra keys on this keyboard that are supposed to be āfor gamingā but they appear to function (in this game at least) as simple shortcuts to F keys, rendering them kind of redundant. When I do need more board real estate F keys will be the place to go.
I feel you. Iām glad you mentioned `. I learned that one from my girlfriend who has tiny hands. I have big meaty man hands that span the whole keyboard vertically. So my brain never even thought to go for tilde. Always makes me warm and fuzzy when people mention binding that one properly.
