I just realized… How would a Mechagnome Death Knight even work?

Like sentient armour. I suppose the helm of command had nerzhul in it.

I’d definitely play it as a ghost in armour though.

Well I actually wasn’t, I was thinking relating to mechanical things like Sprockets and Gizmos and trying to mix and match till I find something I like.
Gotta wonder if Blizzard will ever do a collaboration event like FFXIV did with Nier Automata though.

Mechagnomes aren’t fully mechanical, there is still organic parts in them that is susceptible to necrotic magic.

OP… I think you mean “clever,” not “cleaver.” Unless you’re using a cleaver to chop up your Mechagnome into pieces.
