3000 posts across at least five threads is not all people saying they donât want it.
That you are unlikely to play with anyone outside your guild means you are already more affected than I ever will be.
I have to make new connections. Youâll just blacklist yours.

You miss my point: DPS meters gave people something to fixate on for judgment. Some judgment as you point out is perfectly acceptable (Iâm no raiding slouch if you wanna check), but when people gate keep groups because a Rogue canât hit insert arbitrary DPS amount for trivial content, it really isnât any different than noting the lack of purples. Someone earlier brought up GearScore as a hated thing that cannot be in line with Vanilla⌠which is absurd because since the beginning weâve had dumb and valid ways of excluding/including people.
DPS Meters probably had a grander impact on the game than LFG ever did, because raids could then optimize easier, and raids could then be made much harder and finer tuned.
You keep saying âretailâ, and for some reason refuse to understand that this was IN VANILLA.

Not widespread enough to be noticeable at all. However, because retail is so used to it, people from there will make this addon popular. The only reaction is to blacklist those who use it.

Some of the people against this addon are universally anti-addon too though. One of them just last night said they wished they just disable all addons so it wasnât in question what was allowed and what wasnât.
You can check the forums to find a number of threads that are universally anti-addon as well.

Not true, one did not need addons to raid.
All of this is irrelevant. My experience will go unsullied and so will enough others for this to not bother me at all. However still, weâll do our part to ostracize this addon as much as possible until Blizzard breaks it.

I agree with this on the basis that the hypocrisy existing with the pro addon community is essentially âAll addons are good. Dont use them if you dont like them SmugSmileyFaceâ and then âOh, well I also dislike addons and think they should be banned, but only the ones I dislikeâ.
Sorry, you are either pro addons or arenât. If you are going to make blanket statements like âAddons were in Vanilla therefore all are okayâ then at least be consistent in your position.
I personally would like a Classic without any addons, but im not going to sit here and hold inconsistent opinions that make no logical sense and pretend im logically sound like 90% of the pro addon guys do.
Iâm more than happy to compare game time.
But youâll win. Because I havenât played any WoW past TBC.
So tell me, person who has played latest wow, tell me how you ruined this game.
And then we can talk about how this addon is going to ruin mine.
All of this assumes that the LFG addon wonât be updated in the future to parallel these features eventually. BAN CLASSIC LFG!

Yeah, all the big raiding guilds used them.
Iâm going to use this for battlegrounds right away and I suggest everyone else does also. Amazing mod.
