there are a lot of degenerates on this forum that never played BC and are sh*tting on it. Reminds me of the retail kids who make posts stating “I was wrong vanilla players were right”. BC was and will always be better than classic. Karazhan raid alone is better than all of vanilla, every spec in BC is actually worthwhile. Nobody will care about any of you once bc is out though so keep making these threads for the last bit of attention you will get.

I’d like all of it. However, I don’t really want Classic to go away again. But on the flip side if they have Classic, BC and Wrath servers eventually that means the WoW playerbase will be split 4 ways instead of two.

I honestly couldn’t agree more. People want a game where the world matters, levelling is a journey, social dynamics exist, and the game feels like an MMORPG. I believe it would be a huge mistake to release TBC reservers and follow the current lineage of WoW. After all the current lineage of WoW sucks. I will state that TBC was my favorite version of WoW and by a decent margin.
Would TBC be successful? Absolutely! But once you release TBC there is no going back.
Classic has provided blizzard with an opportunity to make things right so to speak. Instead of releasing TBC servers release perhaps a modified version of TBC where certain things don’t exist (based on community feedback and the likes). Things like daily quests, heroic dungeons, shattrah, flying mounts. Instead introduce a renovated PvP system, arena, the same zones can exist, perhaps a new instance, some new quests etc. But I strongly believe going down the current lineage would be a mistake. Even tho TBC was my favorite, I don’t believe I would play it.

I would like them to make a vote, and if the majority vote TBC then allow a character to copy their char to a TBC server
That way you keep classic and also have a TBC option. Everyone wins
It’s like Game of Thrones, where they ran out of books to follow. We follow the expac line until WOTLK, then head into new and uncharted waters.

I would like to see BC-Classic and Wrath-Classic servers. And yes, in time, Cata-Classic. Does no one miss Deathwing flitting around the world and torching random zones?
As for rewriting the past 15 years of story, no, no, no. Why would they do that? Classic is a nostalgic journey to the beginnings of WoW, not a brand new beginning.

I won’t do either TBC or any sort of whack-azz “Classic-only” expansion.
But if they’re gonna go one way or the other, TBC is preferable.

Classic sucks compare to TBC, TBC is the completed version of vanilla; a lot of classes were not finish until TBC which is why so many specs are not ideal to use in Classic. TBC is vanilla with completed specs for all classes; I love wotlk more but unlike TBC wotlk was when they introduced the leveling nerf which killed the feeling of community in wow.
But if they do release TBC, they should change the leveling zone, outland should be 63-65 as a start so people would play through the lvl 60 contents because this is what blizzard failed to do with TBC when things in the lvl 55-60 lands feel very irrelevant once tbc release.

TBC lore was just awful. There was zero reason to make Kael’thas and Illidan into raid bosses. Blizz should scrap that entire expansion and start a new timeline.

I don’t see the point in Cata servers. Not only is it one of the worst expansions and definitely in the top 3 most hated, it’s “best feature” was a revamp of the Old World which caused millions of people to quit.
Cata was the BfA before we had BfA.

I’m fine with moving in the general direction of BC and Wrath content. I’m not in favor of moving towards BC and Wrath nerfs and mechanical changes to gameplay.

People wanted legacy servers, and even though at the time I had zero interest in them I still backed the idea of them. I will do the same thing for those that want TBC and Wrath servers.
People should be able to play the version of the game they like.
