people talk about bc because their life and gearscore is planned out on a chart. if you want a conversation this was the wrong topic.
Saying that something is “dumb af,” without even knowing what “it” is, is a bit hasty. The entire point of Classic+ content is that it is simultaneously new content, and that it builds upon the foundation set by Warcraft III and the early WoW game writers and designers. It is not only feasible, but entirely predictable if Blizzard wants to capitalize further on Classic’s success extending far into the future. Personally, I’d really like if we could just get Warcraft IV already.
Because BC is one of the potential futures of Classic. There is no “future of classic” forum, so the discussions happen here. Blizzard has stated on the record that they are looking to the players to see what they want to determine how they should proceed regarding new content. Talking about it here is the best thing to do.
