So i played PvP servers whole life playing WoW, & now that its dropped again my family has began playing but on the Normal realm. So my questions are if i go to the Normal realm… is there just as much if not a little of open world activity? if not NO WORRIES, but what about BGS? will BGS be long ques? or will normal realms be qued with the PvP realms as well? just Dont wanna go to Normal Realm and have PvP be completely dead even in bgs…
World PvP died awhile ago. PvP servers are usually heavy to one side. As for PvE realms, you can flag for PvP and hope for the best, but 95% of your action will be battlegrounds. Even with Classic coming back around, there is a reason retail made Warmode and incentivized it. People wanted to be rewarded for being body camped.
Bgs are x-realm.
You can flag yourself to be ganked…er world pvp, if you want.
Back in the day when I was on a PvP realm, I spent far more of my PvP time in BGs on my other PvE realmed toons. I had hardly any PvP action on the PvP server. (Mind, I didn’t go hunting folks, but they didn’t seem to hunt me either.)
do you not know about the faction balancing on the new pvp servers??? makes it more balanced. but i do see open world dying in a couple months no doubt even if it does pop off for a bit
