Classic WOW BC?

imagine after you grinding for so many months for the claymore, and then is beaten by a sword rewarded from the first quest of BC

Imagine trying to beat this dead horse.

Your scenario has been proven false every single time.

Do we really need to put in wow head links here?

If you’re a fresh 60 when TBC launches then yeah sure you’ll replace gear right through the portal, but if you’ve been progressing and gearing up through Naxx you’ll be carrying alot of your gear to 70.

i think people consider tbc and even wrath to a certain extent part of classic… althou wrath is where they started the whole cross server LFG which is what was in my opinion the first big no no.

like I remember the first time I queued for a dungeon and I joined instantly I said to myself… hey that’s cool but what’s the point of a guild now…

It’s so sad how people are trying to discourage the release of TBC because classic vanilla is going to hemorrhage most of it’s playerbase.

I’m sorry classic vanilla won’t be very active for you, but we want TBC. Some of us are only in this to get to TBC or Wrath. It’s not even a bad thing to become closer to retail because not everything about retail is BAD! There have been so many posative changes from vanilla, and that’s to be expected as the first release of a product always comes with flaws. Nostalgia be damned.

Imagine grinding many months in retail to get that 1 raid drop you’re after, only to have it become obsolete as soon as the next raid comes out.

LOL

Half head take

Day by day we get closer to death etc etc.
This is such a bad take… By your logic, every classic patch gets us closer to retail. We started with terrible MC drops. Now we have correctly itemized drops and bosses with mechanics. SOUNDS LIKE RETAIL TO ME!

I think blizzard should have just given us alpha. Vanilla is closer to retail than alpha :man_shrugging:

A couple weels ago after touting the success of Classic, Blizzard promised investors in an earnings call “many more classic launches in the future.”

So unless you’re a billion dollar company bound by FTC laws and your daughter is an investor you’re legally beholden to be honest with… not really analogous.

You are 100% right. What is the purpose of playing TBC? Most of TBC + improvements are in the latest Retail client. Why not just play that?

arena gear? pfft.

TBC is the best format for raiding in the entire game. That is why people will play it.

The idea that Blizzard should release TBC just so you can play a “good” version of the current game sounds so unnecessary.

If you want the modern game to be “good” you’d be better off trying to play and improve the modern game instead of clinging to a 9 month old survey. So many of the people asking for TBC never even played TBC.

meh retail is such a drag, I can relive my fun in the past without being angry infront of the computer because my gear scales poorly with the mobs I should be destrying easily

you do realize there is some pretty awesome raids in TBC right? Its not just arena? I think you’re just here to troll.

lol they’ll either have to do seasonal servers at that point or create new content… no one wants to go past wotlk.

When they get to the end of Wrath they could Trash the Trash that is RETAIL and start over… Win/Win

Why do people think posting something obnoxious and saying “no offense/offence” actually makes what they posted less obnoxious?

People who want BC realms want BC realms.

People who want BC realms do not want Modern realms, because Modern is not BC.

People who want BC realms do not go back to Modern because they want BC realms, not Modern realms.

“What’s next” is not a concern for people who want BC realms, because people who want BC realms want BC realms, not continuous progression as you imply.

This has been questions that answer themselves being answered anyway by Mojo Jojo.

TBC had Illidan
Retail “had” Illidan

The first three games of an MMO are the most cherished. Its the same in EQ. People will replay these three for the next 40+ years.

It’s diminishing returns all the way up. They’ll either respect themselves enough to leave Classic as a museum piece, decide to support the community with a Classic+, or squeeze whatever minor amounts of cash they can out of subsequent rereleases of expansions.
