[Classic] <Willingly Suboptimal> [A] [PvE] Recruitment

<Willingly Suboptimal> NA - Alliance - RP-PvE

INTRODUCTION:
Willingly Suboptimal is a freshly founded guild that is preparing for official Classic launch. Our goal is to enjoy Classic and everything it has to offer, especially committed when it comes to dedicated raiding. We’re focused on achieving our ambitious goals, and looking for more. We will be rolling on an RP realm for its higher sense of community and atmosphere.

RECRUITMENT:
We are recruiting all dedicated and focused raiders of any class for our hardcore main raid team, those who want to push content at a fast and consistent pace. We currently actively searching for HUNTERS, DRUIDS, and ROGUES as well as a few of the other classes for our Main team, though we would strongly consider any strong applicant of any class. Our current leadership contains individuals who have had a long and successful resume when it comes to true hardcore raiding on both Retail, and Classic private servers. Our main raid roster is already pushing 35 players.

We are also recruiting for two more casual minded raid teams, one weekend team, and one late night team. We’re RP friendly, but RP is not a requirement. However, we will have some casually organized RP. Our guild is not just about raiding, and we are also looking for casuals, friends, and family who wish to integrate themselves into our community.

EXPECTATIONS:
As per our guild name, we do not worry about being completely 100% optimal. We are open to any class, and any spec. We believe it is the player that truly matters. Currently, our raiding rosters have room for any dedicated player of any class. We expect main team raiders to put in the required effort during progress. We expect to use our raid time as efficiently as possible, by also preparing outside of raid as well. We will be using Loot Council.

Main raid goals go from hitting the ground running into Stage One of progress, clear content at a fast pace, and end with killing Kel’thusad at least 30 times. We intend to have the casual raids begin in the 4th month, and clear content at a relaxed pace.

RAID TIMES:
Hardcore Raid Team - Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Monday 8pmEST - 11pmEST

Casual Weekend Raid Team - Saturday/Sunday 8pmEST - 11pmEST

Late Night Raid Team - Tuesday/Friday 12amEST - 3amEST

WTS stack of water 5g, freshly made.

On the hunt for Warlocks, Priests, Druids, and Hunters for our main raid roster. Looking for any focused and dedicated raider of any class.

Plenty of room in our casual raid teams as well.

Cheers

On the prowl for more casual minded folks for our Weekend Raid team.

Also on the hunt for MST/PST folks for our Late Night team (Late Night from the perspective of EST folks).

I’m willing to answer any question in relation to any guild-related topic, feel free to reach out.

I need more warlock buddies.

Are you a Priest, Warlock, Druid who’s looking to raid in an experienced raid environment?

If yes, then we want you. Please check us out!

Are you going to be one of those guilds that has six Ret paladins?

He is one of the six ret paladins

Ha, no, not nearly that many.

We take raiding pretty seriously in the main team, we just are open to having a few of those suboptimal specs. We don’t mind an offtank being a Bear. We don’t mind having a Ret, or a Cat. We’re sure we want a Shadow priest. A dedicated Boomkin who wouldn’t mind putting on the healing gear when needed is also something we’d consider. It really just depends on the player.

As for the casual teams, there is even more wiggle room there for the suboptimal specs, as those raids will be much more laid back.

Why are you talking to yourself?

Talking to oneself is a sign of superior intellect.

I wholeheartedly agree.

What are your plans in regards for how quickly you want to start raiding on your main team?

You need to be lvl 60 on day 2 of release and have all pre-raid BiS by the third day :upside_down_face:

Maid raid will officially start in the fifth week, giving four full weeks for leveling and preliminary pre-raid BiS farm, professions, and other preparation. Beginning in the third week, during our scheduled raid times, the main roster will be doing dungeon farm for a multitude of reasons (Pre-Raid BiS, UBRS Key, help others get to 60). We are expecting the main roster to all be online during “raid times” beginning in the third week, regardless of level.

That being said, as soon as we have enough people to do Onyxia/Molten Core during the raid time hours, we will enter the raids, even if this is before the official start in the fifth week. We simply require every main raider to be leveled and preliminarily preparation done by the end of the fourth week. We expect the main roster to acquire most if not all of their pre-raid BiS, and required other preparation done by the end of the sixth week.

What are your plans for your casual raid teams?

Our weekend and late night teams will both start in the 13th week, giving three months to level. These teams will be much more laid back, and primary goal is to simply clear the stage of content before the next stage releases. The folks leading the two casual teams are the same folks leading the main team.

We are definitely on the hunt for more Warlocks, along with Hunters, Priests, and Druids.

If you’re interested in what we have to offer, please join our discord!

Warlocks are the best ranged dps.

Change my mind.
