Why does it matter what other people do in game? Play classic the way you want.
I see the classic communtiy is already as toxic to themselves as retail, well that didnt last long.

So i still feel even though they did clear MC with greens, the big advantage that they had was info. I remember (a slight bit) knowledge of the game hard to come by at the time. These people should still get mad ups for being world first, even if they did it at what is considered low requirements, they put the effort in to figure all out all the stuff they accomplished in an efficient manner. I’m barely figuring out how to not pull aggro off my voidwalker.

I genuinely believe that most guilds (and all pugs) will have a MUCH harder time clearing MC. APES had years of practice on this content behind them (on private servers). And they had every move of levelling and beating MC planned out to the smallest detail months ago. And they used an exploit(?) that most players won’t be bothered with.

It gets worse. They only had 36 and many weren’t even level 60. I completely agree one of the biggest thing in Vanilla was collecting pre raiding gear after hitting 60. Today another clan cleared MC.
its not vanillia. There are bugs being found all the time. Hunters are still not doing damage to higher level mobs correct. I know for a fact MC was not this easy in 1.12… they have more bugs to find, they have messed up the instances from 0 - 60…

100% agree this is not vanilla or true 1.12, this is easy mode casual classic.
This is how I feel. I could care less that some no lifers cleared a 15 year old raid. The only people who do are those with an axe to grind
No the people who care are the ones that love this game, and want it to be correct.

Seems like they failed to mention the fact that they were efficient because they have spent the last 10 years learning how to do it efficiently. The fact that they said Method was taking the wrong approach confirms this fact.
What Blizzard got wrong was the layering. If the realms were not layered, getting to 60 would have been a bit more difficult since there would have been more people trying to get the needed mobs.
You mean all the milenial babies that never got to play vanilla and now have the chance for it, so they can finaly say they played vannila truthfuly?

They said once they realized how easy classic was compared to private servers it was easy clap. Everybody else thought it was going to be the other way around, that private servers got it wrong because they had to guess on so many things.
On the .1% thing, even Apes said what they did was not special outside knowing how to level to 60 faster than Method. If you are doubting me you probably a) didn’t play vanilla and b) haven’t played BFA at a higher level.
A mythic 10 is harder than anything vanilla had mechanics wise, the hard part about vanilla was the grind, which if you are clearing MC in greens was removed.
WoW Classic is like the steroid era of baseball, is it really a record if you had help that didn’t exist in the past?
And for people who are saying play the game for me, you don’t understand the appeal of classic. Vanilla was fun because of the community…that all went out the window when Blizzard botched the launch, my friends are all on different servers with different queue times. The “friends” I have made on my server are hardly on at the same time as me because Blizzard made a game that caters to working professionals nostalgia that they can’t play because they are working professionals.

Private servers had the foresight to have 8 debuff slot for ragnaros phase.
Blizzard added 16 debuff slots for phase 1.
