I plan to be 60 by day 6-7
I leveled 2 warriors, a druid, and a shamen to 60 in retail vanilla and 1 warrior and 1 sham on pservers. I’ve done the low level content to death. my goal this time around is to be get to 60 asap so I can raid log.

Slow. I already know what awaits at endgame so no reason to rush. I’m going to be so happy to be back in the old world that I will take in the sights and the atmosphere.
Lowbies ain’t gonna gank themselves, I’ll be rushing to 60 and hanging out in Duskwood to send people from the Raven Hill cemetery back to the graveyard across the map.
^^ This.
I’m going to push and be as efficient as possible, some may call it rushing, but it’s just my style. First couple days are days I have off, so hoping to get [Classically Ahead of the Curve] You tried to click that didn’t you? with some extended duration (between server crashes and hotfixes) playtime.
I’m going to go all out… with no particular direction except where I end up.
I’ll be taking my time. I don’t see the necessity to rush. All that accomplishes is finishing all the content and then not having anything to do for months…
SO much fishing. I’ve never bothered with it. But this time around I’ll be fishing EVERYWHERE.
I’m going for world first level 2, then after that I can retire to leveling in peace the rest of the way.
I’ll probably play a lot and get there quicker than most but I’m not sure playing a lot equates to rushing. Rushing would imply optimal path/researching.
I will probably go in blind and see what I can remember from when I played before.
No rush. I will take my time.
Yeah - I plan on going in pretty much blind. I have a pretty good memory but I still made a mistake on the stress test and had to take two trips into the imp cave in Valley of Trials (had the pick quest and imp quest but not the quest for the named guy).
One thing I will do though is go figure out where to get all of the quests for each dungeon so I don’t feel like I need to keep going back because I found another quest.
I’ve never liked doing those optimized strategy guides that lay out the exact path to leveling. I mean, if you are going to do that you might as well be playing current WoW. ![]()
Both - booked first three weeks of classic off and will be going full “no life” during that time. After that, probably level an alt and take my sweet time.
I’m going to spend all my available time leveling in the most optimal way…but I have a life outside of wow so I will be far from the first to be 60.
Rush a warrior tank to max then casual level everything else
Since there is actual content and enjoyment to the leveling experience, I will not be on a mad rush to 60. Classic and Vanilla wasn’t designed with the “the game starts at max level” mentality in my opinion.
I plan to use Joana’s guide to get to 60 as fast as possible so I can no life for a short period of time while taking off work and then go back to being a casual that has at least one max level character. I know if I don’t get to 60 as fast as possible I’ll be driven to play more because I’m worried I’ll never reach it (I never did during Vanilla, I was a derpy ADHD kid).
Honestly really scared about the grind. It’s very intimidating to me. I’m hoping I can cut it down to 8 or 9 days played.
I’ll probably rush to 20-30ish and then relax. I just don’t enjoy the early levels as much as mid-late.
Its a shame classic isnt getting released over christmas otherwise I would probably do something similar. My work is pretty dead during winter too so it’d work out perfectly.
I will be taking my time, leveling a Human mage, N.E. druid and Drawf hunter at the same time. Its the journey to me verses end game that’s important. Besides I am a Head Coach at a middle school so I will not have much free time.
