It’s time we talk about the fluff-tailed, pack-slinging, caravan-crafting legends that are the Vulpera. Yeah, yeah I know what you’re thinking: “But they’re from BFA!” But hear me out…
Classic has brought us back to the roots, but what if it also carved a new path forward? A “Classic+” world where creativity meets nostalgia?
Why Vulpera could be epic in Classic+:
Lore potential: Desert-dwelling nomads in Tanaris or Uldum? YES PLEASE.
Utility-focused racials without breaking balance.
Major RP energy for players who want to live their best fox-life.
New caravan-themed quests, racial hubs, and custom mounts (sand sled, anyone?)
We’re not asking to copy-paste Retail we’re dreaming of a Classic that grows in its own wild way. Vulpera in Classic could breathe life into old zones, spark new adventures, and give long-time players something fresh while keeping it grounded in Azeroth’s roots.
If Gnomes and Goblins can tinker through the world, why can’t clever foxfolk survive in the sands?
So c’mon Blizz, toss a paw to the future let’s get fluffy in Classic. /signed,
A hopeful caravaner
I can’t wait til Classic+ comes out and its so retail-like that you guys who complain about everything will refuse to play it. Then we’ll just tell you to go back to era lmao.
I see you had a medical emergency while in the character creation screen. I’m guessing a keyboard facial roll on the name screen, across the enter button, and then into a 7 month coma. We’re glad to see you woke back up and that you’re once again posting.
I think the Vulpera hate is undeserved. Like, I’m not a fan myself but if we’re inventing new playable in the context of classic+, why the heck not? It literally doesn’t matter what they pick and it’s hypothetically an alternate timeline so anybody can invent a backstory as to why they would show up early.
Of all the things that could be ported from retail into Classic+, a race concept is the absolute least of my worries. I’m sure it would be easier to port over a race that’s already been rigged for casting animations and has the armor pieces set up for it than it would be to try to shoehorn it onto some npc race from Era.
