Race isn’t a huge concern for most classes. Exceptions being priest, where dwarves give a fear ward ability that is in huge demand for raids, and rogue, where again dwarves have a find treasure ability that really helps with finding loot.
In fact, if you’re alliance then dwarf master race.
Horde isn’t that unbalanced. Orcs have axe mastery and extra pet damage, but they are relatively small perks and not nearly as imba as dwarves.

Well Draenei Paladin is like my third favorite race/class combo.
I am in the same boat with you. The more information i absorbed, the more indecisive i become. Uncertain with one get assign to which proffession. But atleast i got the names ready.
And two days ago i just kick the priest out of the roster (sorry mind control).
I narrow down to:
Tauren druid, gender(hit box) uncertain.
Shaman, orc i guess
Warlock undead i guess, orc doesn’t goes well with dread steed.
I will role a orc hunter( just to have the pet feeding) and a dwarf paladin(in a pve server), the they most likely won’t hit 40.

You will know tomorrow when you log in. You can only log into 1 class first, and that will be the class you want to play more. Im the same way, except i like every class, just some classes I enjoy just a little bit more. So, we have to accept we only play 1 class until 60, even though it is not the overwhelming favorite, it is still the favorite.
name all 3
play all 3 until you like 1 best
other 2 are bank toons or whatever.
Least that is what I am doing

Case in point
One thing to think about if you are solo leveling is pally is going to be a real pain trying to get tags on mobs for the first few weeks.
Druids are the second easiest class to lvl, and the second fastest.
Id say hit the Orc shaman. Good race/class combo, and you have that Thrall type of vibe to it.

Guys, thank you for all of your responses. I know it doesn’t seem much, but to me it was helpful. I have made my decision. I just woke up this morning and I knew. No doubts, no second guessing anything, it just came to me and I have a great feeling I will do great things with this character.
