Probably, It’s kind of sad actually because this means blizz is literally redoing 10+ years of game content because they messed up.

I dont get these ppl that think Classic servers are going to stay populated forever solely because Blizz never creates BC servers or Classic +.
Whether you like it or not, the vast majority of Classic players wont still be playing Classic in over two years even if Blizz does nothing, and most of them will go back to not playing WoW at all.
So just give this “split the community” nonsense a rest. It seems that nearly everyone wants pure Classic servers to stay up indefinitely regardless of the future plan.
So just why is the “Classic Forever” crowd so petrified of BC and Classic + ?

I would absolutely love it to continue, just without all the little tiny changes over time that lead to retail today… ie
Flying
Class balancing
Class revamps/overhauls
Group finder
Transmog
Dungeon summoning stones
GCD changes
Can’t think of the others right now, but there’s plenty more.

No. Knock it off.
Here’s how I think Classic+ should run:
- ONLY add new content.
- NO gameplay changes.
- NO quality of life changes.
- NO exceptions to rules 2 & 3, no matter how small or negligible or seemingly harmless.
Even a tiny change to gameplay is a dangerous slippery slope leading us back to retail designs. I’d like to see nothing but content added. They can give us more stuff to kill and nothing more.

I hope the buff raids and add aoe loot and dual specs now.
The game needs these to really be successful as the content right now is just way too easy.
Then me and my buddies will simply move on. I don’t really care if Blizzard wants to ruin this there are other options to get the game I want to play.

I’ve played with those changes. those changes are in retail I don’t care for retail so what makes you think I would enjoy these changes in classic?

Because retail is bad because of crap leveling, LFG/LFR automatically grouping and teleporting, bad class design, welfare epics, stupid titanforging etc.
Retail isn’t bad because you can loot 2 mobs at once…

Why not? The game would instantly be improved.
it starts with little changes and then we end up with BFA. I’d rather they get to phase 6 and never touch it again. layering alone has proven Blizzard cant be trusted to make changes.

cuz it changes mechanics for QoL.
Slippery slopes are so lazy.
Fact is the changes I want would make the game more enjoyable for 99% of players. And the only people who disagree do so out of some need to not give in to retail possibly doing some things right.
Classic can improve, and we shouldn’t shy away from talking about and discussing those improvements.
By all means you can disagree, but provide a reason beyond “no changes”
