Its obviously hyperbole.
But if i walk around orgimmar on whitemane in the afternoon i can find at least 10 players with warlord gear on just standing around and i know many people with rank 13/14 character clones that they dont play most the time, or have since replaced their pvp gear entirely with naxx/aq gear
Rank 14 is not rare or special, and a majority of the rank 14s are pretty bad at pvp as well, its not something you earn through any actual skill, its entirely gatekept by whether or not you have the ability/ desire to sit on your computer playing bgs for 12+ hours a day for a few monthās without taking a break.
I say either make it skill based, or make it a long but accessible grind. The current system is a joke

They released a TBC Classic and after a year, they just jumped past it and made them all Wrath Classic realms.
I knew they would never keep REAL Vanilla, REAL BC or REAL Wrath as they were originally. Forget the PVP changes, Wrath classic and Vanilla classic have had HUNDREDS of little tweaks to make them easier and updated to systems in other xpacs.
So as I type this, there is no longer any true Vanilla classic or TBC classic or Wrath classic - just changed versions.
This is why I play Retail WOW. All the expansions in one game - yes, systems have changed but to make a character on a classic realm, only to see that in time, they change so much it ruins the point of playing. So why bother?
COME BACK TO REAL WOW = RETAIL!! That is the only World of Warcraft that counts. If you missed out on playing these other expansions when they were live - just accept it- or enjoy it while playing on retail.
If Vanilla was put back into retail WOW and had an on/off between vanilla 1-60 and cata 1-60, it would be perfect.
Separate from era, but fresh servers never have a million r14s sitttin in major cities from the server being up for 5 years.
Thereās no issue with a billion players having r14 on era, that was totally inevitable since the server ānever endsā. Same with t3 gear
Itāll get worse the longer time goes on, but thatās not really a problem just a reality

Retail doesnāt feel like the old school role playing game that I want when I play Warcraft. If Im going to play a modern game WoW isnt on the list of games Iād spend time with

Vanilla is what happened in the early 2000s. #NoChanges died before the 2019 launch. TBC and Wrath were never Classic WoW.

Iām hoping for a currency based system. Iām too old to play 40 hours a week. I love this game and I always come me back to it. I have a family now, I canāt play as much as I could in my 20s but Iād still like to be able to unlock the loot at my own pace.

that or remove rank decay so you can put in the work at your own pace
Want to fix the pvp system in classic? Remove pre-mades and implement some kind of RNG that assigns people to different BGs even if they count down and queue at the same time. Or make it so pre-mades can face pre-mades and pugs vs pugs.
Iām sure some people will find a way to queue together, they always do.
But its incredibly frustrating to have the same groups that steam roll pugs when they pop a couple hundred gold in consumes every fight. Or even worse when you queue in to a match where someone on your team is intentionally being roofed and the opposing team holds the game til they get the person to afk out.

Play a new game. RPGs have power imbalance and team play. The roof stuff is just toxic and reportable.
