If we are talking about the original Wrath prepatch it was very boring and unmemorable. No matter how many people played it that doesn’t matter. I know I did that but it was so boring I remember none of it.
It’s nice that you remember liking AV but if you ask 100 people about Wrath prepatch PVP and 1 will remember as you did and if you ask 100 people about Vanilla PVP 20 will remember.
So that Wrath prepatch is not a good example of anything. Thankfully this new system isn’t that currency garbage that you seem to want.

1v1s in AV isn’t even a good example of either quality PVP or playing the objectives properly. it’s like saying you enjoy road fights so you want more. Since road fighters aren’t team players and since they contribute nothing and since you are one of those, yes I guess I can see why you like this so much. Frankly seeing that a leech player does not want to be a team player hating on premades is exactly what I’d expect.

The reason Blizzard got rid of the PVP rank grind in the first place was due to the unhealthy gaming habits that players developed. It also encouraged account sharing in order for a player to reach rank 14.
I guess Blizzard had seen those unhealthy habits creeping back in, and decided to change the system without completely removing it all together.
I was very surprised they kept the old system in Classic release.
Bro, we not on classic era pvp. Its SoM ranking rules that apply.
Som you can get r14 in 8 weeks, the only brackets that eill require an actual time commitment is r13 and r14 rest you get by just playing the game normally.
