Why are we nerfing Shadow Priest? When will this class be viable again? I wish this would stop happening and it being pigeon holed into an extremely Niche pick and it could just actually exist in the meta.

Because if your class is not greater than 10% of the player base they have to stomp you down to keep the monsters they created happy.

We spent the entire PTR giving feedback that the Paladin and Holy Priest both urgently need attention because they looked like crap, and finally you noticed? after starting the new season?
They still haven’t managed to draw positive lessons from the colossal failure of Shadowlands, it seems.
When will you learn to listen to the active player, and not the kiss-a** digital influencer? When they start to lose players because of these things, influencers will certainly pay extra monthly fees to replace them… trust me!

it doesnt feel good as a balance druid being as close as we are to aug evokers in damage. You will likely catch us in damage on single target now… but you bring support role buffs and we dont.
This is the most frustrating part. Throughout the PTR it was unanimously agreed that holy paladin and holy priest needed throughput buffs, but nothing was done. The PTR cycle is not being used effectively.

What Blizzard got out of the PTR, apparently, was that Brewmasters were so overpowered they needed a smaller damage increase than the other tanks got.
(Blood DK, Vengeance DH, increased by 20%. Prot Warrior & Guardian Druid increased by 26%. Brewmaster? 15%, same as Paladins.)

Me either, but I almost miss Ghostcrawler’s interaction with the community, even if he was a turd. Couldn’t stand the guy when I was playing, but at least he would communicate with us some. Now, we’re just pretty much screaming into an empty void.

The moment I decided to stop going to Blizzcons was when I was sitting there watching a panel discussion of GC and his class team, and they were talking about Guardian Druids and flat-out lying to us about how the abilities worked.

IIRC GC didn’t understand how Bestial Wrath worked, or the fact it could break CCs at the time in PvP.

umm then why are we in the bottom 5 -10 on all the dps charts?
hopefully those bug fixes involve the set procs… Go hit a test dummy for 2-5 mins and watch what causes jackpot to proc. or maybe a fix to the pet AI that has been trash since 2004?
Nothing scared my gnome warlock more than a big red unstoppable cat that did ridiculous damage. Just hope you can soul link enough damage until it ends. I was able to counter just about every other class in the game, until then. Lol
That made already smug hunters even more smug with their super simple rotation for PvE as well.

Hopefully before this drops they add more buffs to brewmaster monks we really need it to be viable as the rest of the tanks

If you are going to just flat nerf a spec maybe a note explaining why would be nice? I finally got into DPS after years of playing tank and heals and really enjoy Shadow Priest and now it’s just flat nerfed? I am just an anecdote, but I was starting to get outpaced by our group’s Beast Master hunter even though they have lower gear than me. I will admit I’m not the best but like, this isn’t helping.

- All healing increased by 3%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
