Class Tuning Incoming -- March 17

yeah us mid-40s guys are all about that sort of thing. apparently.

If you’re actually in your mid-40s acting like this? holy :poop: …………………………………….

I’m a Dark Ranger marksmanship hunter I literally have to pop CD’s to kill open world mobs because if I dont I’ll be shooting them for 30 minutes because our aimed shot takes 10 million centuries to fire.

i don’t really know what you mean by that. i’ve always observed that as people get older, they get less tolerant of nonsense, not more. i’m not going to apologize for pointing out that “time it takes to kill a world mob” is a bad measure of a spec’s ST potential in real encounters, and i don’t know why that’s controversial or childish.

You’re popping CDs on 1, singular, mob? Have you ever considered opening with aimed shot before you’re in combat?

Aimed shot isn’t our primary damage ability Black Arrow is, and Aimed shot doesn’t provide the damage you think it does it’s better being cast only when lock n load procs. and even then when you need to cast it no amount of haste buffs in the universe make it cast faster than 3 seconds despite the UI saying otherwise.

20% nerf across the board for unholy is rough. We didnt even get to experience being OP for 1 key :frowning:

atleast you’re not playing the lowest damage dps class in the game right now even with that 20% nerf

You were meta all 3 seasons of tww, likely have had your moment in the sun. But who knows we still have some tuning to go and don’t really know how things will shake out

All Rogues specs are designed to pop CDs for world quest mobs or else you will be auto attacking mobs for days lol.

You didn’t get to be OP for 1 day??? :face_with_peeking_eye:

Okay, now I really feel sorry for DKs…

…not.

Yeah. They went from S-Tier to A-Tier.

How can they stand it???

You went from D to S…

Give me a little so I can climb out of D to B - Do IT!

Who went to S-Tier??? (looks around). It sure ain’t us paladins.

We’re calling the devs for you right now…

We’ve made several updates to the tuning pass coming tomorrow.

Updated three Fire Mage changes to offset any change to PvP.

  • Fireball damage increased by 15%. Does not affect PvP combat.
  • Frostfire Bolt damage increased by 15%. Does not affect PvP combat.
  • Fire Blast damage increased by 25%. Does not affect PvP combat.

Updated one Mistweaver Monk line to the correct increase of 270% (not 260%).

  • Jadefire Teachings now increases the transfer rate of Ancient Teachings by 270% (was 200%).

And the following Retribution Paladin note has been adjusted, with an additional new bug fix.

  • Final Verdict damage increased by 30% 15%.
  • Resolved an issue causing Execution Sentence to only deal 10% of the Holy damage dealt to the target, instead of the intended 20%.

Are you going to fix the MANY bugs making classes unplayable???

Also Affliction?

Is this an buff or just an fix of the buff?

And far better than nothing.

But the spec remains a joke in it’s comparative complexity to, say, Frost Mage.

As it stands affliction is expected to be played on zero of the new raid bosses, even after the other changes on the 17th.

For a spec that was overhauled for this expansion, that’s really sad.

Is ok. I think the reduction in that upfront damage is because of the bug fix, else it would double dip.
