It really is astonishing, considering the massive gulf between Brewmasters and all 5 of the other tanks.
(Not that Prot Warrior isn’t massively performing everyone, because it is. And they didn’t do anything about that, either.)

Fights favored MM, particularly Lords of Dread, Anduin, Sylv.
MM was the lowest simming ST dps spec for all of season 3 and 4 in Shadowlands. Iirc it was not THE very bottom in sanctum, but was below average still. BM was superior on ST for both Sanctum and SoFO and during fated season 4, as seen in Guardian in Sanctum, Skolex and Rygelon in SoFO.
Dot damage was buffed. Everything else was nerfed for Spriest.
They sucked that bad huh

There is another 30% MR buff coming once 10.0.5 hits and even after all that its still behind demo and destro on ST. Affliction is complete gutter tier outside of PvP right now.
A month ago for solo queue , you guys said a protection paladin will be treated as a healer and will only be able to queue if there is another protection paladin on the other side and other tanks would be considered as dps.
So by that statement us competing with other dps specs should be “Working as Intended” isn’t it ? Y’all pretty much nerfed our tanking capabilities in pvp , so let us dps as you have intended us to dps .

100% agree. Can we get some actual focus Blizzard and take a look at the other two warlocks specs, that being Affliction and Destruction.
Demo I think is fine since it does well with AoE. The other two classes do VERY sub par AoE and Affliction single target is kind of a joke outside of pvp. It’s AoE is very mediocre as well.
@Kaivax Destruction needs the most AoE love. And it doesn’t have to be reign of Fire.
Change some talents in the trees, Fire and Brim stone should only be one talent. Havoc damage % talent should only be 1 talent.
Buff Demon Fire. Buff Cataclysm, Buff Incinerate AoE damage.
And then give single target about another 5% buff.
If warriors and other melee can hit 100k dps, with two AoE spells, we should be on par.

This seems like overkill. This ability is currently really fun. I definitely agree the burst is a little high during the crit window but 10-15% feels more like what was needed.

Yeah, a lot of people try to convince me that they’re consulting data and carefully making adjustments based upon that data, but this is the enhance nerf in the other direction. Smack a large % change then spend the next few weeks shaving off that change. So many people said “there was a reason!” when the enhance nerf went out, meanwhile the majority of that nerf ended up getting reverted.

I was surprised to see all 6 tanks specs have timed a +20 key already.
The same can’t be said for all 7 healer specs or 25 dps specs.

These do look like good changes, I don’t think 12% is going to fix fire mage tbh I think it’s going to take more than that. Honestly ROP needs to go away so they can actually buff their damage appropriately and other talents need to be brought in line, like living bomb that is apparently tuned for level 40 and literally does 1500 dmg…
It’s interesting where they pull some of these numbers from. Like 30% for Strike of the Windlord seems a bit much when its on a 40 second cooldown. Meanwhile rogues get a 3% dmg nerf which ultimately will do nothing to change how broken they are atm. Mages get a 12% dmg buff, but Spriest which is actually absurd right now is getting 20% damage buffs on abilities that they for sure did not need at all because they are already doing ridiculous damage…
It is nice to see them putting these changes out quickly though to fix the gross disparity between class power right now and it’s moving in the right direction but I think it has a way to go before some semblance of balance is actually seen.

There are so few pure ST fights is this even a worry?
Also which spec in your mind should be the worst ST?
Remove the drop and see what happens. How many are “watching” a minimized, muted tab?
