Class Tuning Incoming – January 24

The community has 100%, no lies, telling the truth, with-out a doubt, endlessly asking for, in all honesty, in nearly every corner of every server for;

More warlock buffs.

It’s the truth. Can we please have some Blizzard?

Heck yeah buff those babies, also Rsham is about to do some INSANE damage in low level bgs and dungeons.

You people should realize these nerfs and buffs are based on data and not for the sake of it.

You act like they’re trying to correct someone else’s mistakes. They made all the mistakes you claim they’re trying to balance out now.

Pretty sure Ion has a degree in law, not game design.

If this were true they’d be doing tuning passes on all classes, and they would’ve been doing it in beta. And tuning now would encompass all classes. They can’t balance fairly across all specs if they only adjust a few at a time.

Uhhh because double shot rapid fire one shots people in 1.3 seconds?

If you look back on all the tuning passes they have touched on all the classes so far and guess what ion went back to school and learned about game design that’s how it works.

And plus these tuning passes are for fixing a number of expansions that didn’t have a tuning phase.

A lot of them seem to keep being the same, too.

“Oh look, another 3% or 5% buff to Frost and Fire.”

It’s all those dragons swooping around poor birds are scared to fly :dracthyr_uwahh_animated::dracthyr_nod:

Does totemic surge actually work for healing tide and SLT now so totemic recall does what it’s supposed to or still no?

Healing surge buff? No one cares. More damage doesnt matter when you’re constantly struggling to keep people alive.

How about… “totemic surge now appropriately reduces the cooldown of healing tide and spirit link totem.”

It still doesnt do that.

Blizzard does not want hunters to pvp. That’s my takeaway.

Like… juxtapose windwalker with marks. Windlord gets just nerfed, not even removed, and they substantially buff base damage to compensate. They completely remove doubletap and don’t even adjust anything.

What are you talking about? Every expansion has had tuning phases.

Most after the game is released, even though devs love to bark about how “significant changes should only happen between expansions” and then they blow all their beta time tuning a few classes and leaving the rest for hotfixes and content update tuning passes, much like we’re seeing again next week.

Oh really dragonflight had significant amount of tuning passes without a patch.

Legion/BFA/Shadowlands all lacked tuning passes for example like this one here and lacked a significant amount due to the fact that the systems were a roadblock but sure make up your excuses.

This game is getting a proper tuning phase in dragonflight rather you like it or not because this game is desperately in need of one.

Lol you’re telling me covenants and conduits prevented devs from doing any tuning phases?
This hero worship you have is something else.

Still loving the fact they provided no response as to the reasoning of the removal of double tap.

I’m confused as to why you’re in every single change nerfing Outlaw? I get it, the spec was really strong, now you’re just taking away everything it has going for it. We are good defensively, but you still need to play properly. On 10.0.5 you’ll reduce the combo points from our rotation (which makes the spec high APM and the whole reason most people enjoy playing it), nerfing our dmg (a lot), when there are specs out there that have no hard cap like us, doing more damage than us. The illusion that rogues are completely busted just gets disproven by the amount of people playing rogue. Idk man, its enough nerfs, the spec is alright, already kinda bad for most of the dungeons where u should play SUB instead because they don’t actually get the hard hurr durr u hit 8 targets max bs when bosses like the tree at Academy spawns 54808903759874398754938 adds. Doesn’t make much sense but wtv.

Yeah because these systems requires a lot of resources to keep up with and if you think it’s so easy to manage then you don’t know how it truly works.

It’s like looking in a mirror. Clark gets hit by a semi and Chases emerges.

Call me whatever name you like I wouldn’t even change my statement.
