Class Tuning Incoming – February 17

Yea Warlocks have always been a fairly steady class. Ive been playing this character since vanilla and the class has always been viable even if a spec seems to get the shaft.

But Rogue for example has set the bar for consistent highs while Ret, Enh, and Feral have been specs that so rarely get the attention they need that it affects the class as a whole. Instead of addressing the problem they just boost another spec to make the class more appealing.

Or, or the nerfing of the outlying classes, thus the very reason for this discussion. Most ret players (and possibly most players in general) don’t want to be S tier. Just good enough that we’re competitive with most other classes.

Arcane, Demo and Unholy were so far above the rest that they were in a class by themselves. Thus the justifiable nerfs.

Instead of working on Ret with thoughtfulness they just elevated Prot Paladin to the top and are hoping its enough to get people off their backs.

That’s not how it works. Ret players are ret players and are worrying about ret problems. Trust me on this.

Again, I’m not denying that Blizz has done questionable tuning that makes you scratch your head (I’m looking at you, Warriors, who somehow got nerfed ), but the system itself is NOT broken as a whole.

Again, my class that I love is near the bottom of the charts, but I’m not worried about it. Unless you’re pushing for Title (which most of us aren’t), some adjusted tuning as time goes on WILL tend to even things out.
