Class Tuning Incoming – August 22

As much as I grimace at the thought of replying to you after you triple-posted different replies…

Taking the top-end bracket (445+ ilvl) Assassination’s sitting between 103k, and 115k - averaging at 111k. I’m going to say 120k, because it’s easier to math and it helps your argument… Comparatively, you have classes pushing 200k dps single target without PI.

5% to 120k is 6,000 - putting Assass at 126k~ aDPS.

Increasing 120,000 by 45% is 54,000 - or 174,000 dps.

That would place Assassination at 11th over-all dps for aDPS, and 2nd over-all in game for APM. This is taking the top 0.1% of Assassination, and gauging it against any ilvl, of any class, on any fight.

Even taking raidbot, and cramming full bis Assassin with 100% uptime 100% perfect rotation bis-maxed gear, and on a patchwerk fight where it excels… you’re still 60k dps shy of first place - and first place is 210k.

So again… please tell me how 5% will put them in a “very good spot for raiding” - taking 100% of all button-bloat, convoluted rotations, ignorant decision making, etc - out of the equation.

Ah, I see your problem. You’re using raidbot and acting like that is simming anything even close to accurately.

Actual logs are showing classes to be amazingly close. But feel free to continue complaining about the wrong things.

Those are log based numbers.

Please put someone else in charge of PvP. Perhaps a random player from the 1400ish bracket would do compared to what we have now.

rotational difficulty means nothing, all specs are easy to play and master. we can have unholy, hdh, eleshammy, restro druid, and brew be “meta” and some goober will say “why is it always the easiest specs always meta?”

Oh, and while we’re discussing things - Feral could use a bit of a buff in PVE, please

this is satire right

I do, but that’s a good question to ask me lol!

Oh shoot, I just realized I bumped this. Sorry for the late reply
