Why after the expansion launch and why not before? (Is it because they are still working on it and can’t do it before?)

Really butchering dhs aren’t we? Tis the curse of being a " hero class"…expansion after expansion we get nerfed into the dirt like dks were. Can’t wait to see the infinite nerfs to evoker after DF where they will end up literal trash bin D tier spec no one invites, just like dks that aren’t blood dks. Safe to say never play a hero class, you get dumped into D tier to be forgotten.

When is Mortal strike and deep wounds going to have its effectiveness unnerfed in pvp?

Why all the DH hate? Can’t even let them hang around A tier for a while, have to get nerfed into the floor.

Let’s toss a Brewmaster defensive buff or two in there plz. Fix the problem caused by the healing/damage increase weeks ago.

If I had to guess…something to do with PVP? I read that dhs were basically immortal in PVP arena or bgs or something and killing people with ease. Blizz can’t do what FFXIV does and separate PVE and PVE skills individually so one gets nerfed…the other doesn’t. But nah…dhs being too OP in pvp so nerf them in PVE too.

Pretty sad isnt it?

What do you expect from a multi dollar company?

DH’s are overpowered as hell in PvP (played vs them and I have DH as well).

DH will still be in a good spot after this.

Until the next round of nerfs, eventually we’ll be sitting with dps dks unwanted unless tank spec.

That’s why Rob Pardo said during an interview that Arenas were a mistake…a long time ago during WoW’s 5th anniversary.

He begins by saying that he wishes that the servers had been more stable at launch, and that there had been more of them, but he says that in terms of design, Arenas were the single biggest mistake in WoW’s history.

Says Pardo:

We didn’t engineer the game and classes and balance around it, we just added it on, so it continues to be very difficult to balance. Is WoW a PvE cooperative game, or a competitive PvP game? There’s constant pressure on the class balance team, there’s pressure on the game itself, and a lot of times players who don’t PvP don’t understand why their classes are changing. I don’t think we ever foresaw how much tuning and tweaking we’d have to do to balance it in that direction.

In my opinion PvP is amazing, but this issue about PvE/PvP will always exist since the game wasn’t created with that in mind compared to FFXIV as you mentioned.

Destro locks still require a fourth Dimensional Rift charge for flame rift.

Additionally, please make the rifts deterministic (0 RNG). The chaotic energies capstone also requires another tuning pass.

Neither of the above mentioned capstone talents can compete with reign of chaos and blasphemy at the moment.

Destro requires buffs.

These are nice pvp buffs for sub which is really struggling right now, we’ll see if it’s enough though. With the CC reduction in dragonflight, sub just does not have the globals to materially contribute to damage in a stun like it has for its entire existence.

Evoker are the new heroic class. They gotta be kings for one expansion.
