Tough to say. Aesthetically, I liked the Druids open zone, along with Hunters, and the Warlock planet. But some of the class halls added nice conveniences that I still use to this day.
Such as:
Warriors had a nice hall with the added bonus of fast travel across the isles.
Acherus was small and compact, but also gives DK a free legion hearthstone on demand amongst other things.
Rogues had easy access to BMAH (does it still work?)
The Paladin one is a quick trip to the EK for all Paladins
I would say that in a world where class order halls came back they should let us keep our old ones.
They were great after all.
But dalaran blew up which means weâre down a couple of them
I love the Warrior hall with all my heart. Being able to do a Super Hero landing whenever I ventured out was great.
That said, I will remind you all of the early days of Legion where jumping from Skyhold would glitch and youâd arrive at your destination as a corpse.
My thinking wasnât a replacement one, but more like a new satellite type one, thatâs focused on the new area. Itâs honestly the curse of the original ones, being so âLegionâ focused that they become (for several classes) less useful now. Ideally they should have placed them around the world originally and just used portals to get back to Legion, would have made far more sense in hindsight, instead of just being a Legion-specific thing.
You are objectively correct but I am incredibly disappointed in your reasoning.
The real reason why Warlocks objectively has the best order hall is because it features a love den where the Eredar Twins, Alythess and Sacrolash, likes to hang out.
Nah I can agree with you here. One of my favorite feelings on my Warrior is that Iâm just a guy with a Sword doing his best in this space opera, not being a âchosen oneâ by Odyn, an actual titan keeper.
But then again, I always much preferred in the story when our characters were just nameless adventurers going about the world, rather than being the chosen one / the champion of azeroth / the savior of the shadowlands / whatever world or cosmic level craziness is going on.
Hunter was a bit bland but ok and Shaman class hall was one of the last I unlocked and I didnt like it at all. Definitely my least favourite out of the 8 I unlocked.
Ranking best to worst that Iâve seen: Druid, paladin and priest equal, rogue, warrior, warlock, hunter, shaman.
Iâm not sure I can ask for a better class hall than a secret base beneath Lightâs Hope Chapel. I still want to know what was down there that Arthas was afraid of.
How do people remember the quests from 9 years ago? I only recalled that when I read your post. Otherwise it would have remain locked away in my memory somewhere.
The only one that seemed like a dud was the Priest order hall. Feel like Hunters at least had a decent class fantasy despite the zone looking very plain, but the Priests just felt very watered down and odd
As much as I used to love Acherus, getting it as a class hall was kinda lame considering we already had it, plus we lost Dominion Over Acherus which still annoys me to this day.
I really liked the Shaman class hall. It was the perfect hall for the Shaman class fantasy.
Druid was nice, even though Iâm not a Druid player.
Paladin was actually quite enjoyable despite it being fairly plan/standard.
Warrior and Demon Hunter, Iâm sure some people found them really cool, but I hated them.
Priest could of been better if they allowed Priests to see the Temple from the outside and explore it like other halls. Personally I think Monks got the best deal followed by Warlocks and then Paladins. They have an entire ISLAND to themselves, and an entire world also.
