A la Arthas?
You know I’ve always liked shamans for this reason for somehow could never put the term battle mage to them, it makes a lot of sense now, that actually is what they are… huh.

Yes, the paladin Arthas is the exemplar for the death-knight-to-be in this idea, but I’m thinking of a future corruption of more of a Tirion Fordring wannabe. Arthas respected Tirion, but didn’t want to become him and was more of an anti-authority guy to begin with. The character I’m envisioning is more of a brown-noser and less of a maverick.
This guy gets more annoying the more I think it through… lol. Maybe he’ll become “paladin pals” with a blood elf? 
Getting less and less original as I go through the iterations.
