As the title suggest they are not in the list to place. I am almost level 7 for my house.
Others have suggested doing the following and it fixed it for them:
Place a hallway first.
Do the quest “To Dye For”.
Do a few endeavors.
No change after any of the above items were completed.

Heard back from my ticket that was submitted.
Short version: Post here and pray it gets fixed that there is nothing they can do as GMs even though I show all pre-reqs have been completed and technically should have access.
Edit 2 and related bug:
Endeavor progress and rewards.
When doing the endeavors if you have 2 accounts logged in you do not receive the completion rewards. I had 2 accounts logged in completed the “Gather Resources” on Gostutokiti-Zul’jin and did not receive housing xp or coupons. I checked the other account Ghost-Gallywix and they did not receive them either.
I had both accounts going when “unlocking” Daylight and Evening Rooms. I’m pretty sure this is related as it would have been something awarded.

Best of wishes with all that. I am currently tingering with my evening circle room and must say it is very light. I get it, for me designing. But I built a cave with NO light and you can still see everything just fine. Is that what they mean by “ambient light” the magical light that just is? Best get cracking, if so, because I want light to come from natural sources only. windows and lights I put down. And I get that at level 6.
Edit; I know, it takes 35 200% Goldshire windows to fill the roof of an empty stairwell.
Update this thread. Just hit level 7 – please give the 2k xp back that lots of us were missing as this was painful w/ endeavors – and it is still not available. Beyond frustrating to not have access to a rank 3 and 5 room at this point.
If I could include a link and the forums not reject it I would, but alas it does not.

I also have this issue. Day and evening room missing, halfway to level 7 house.
Bf had zero issues and he is level 3.
Im sincerely tired of the bugs, issues and complete failures from this patch…. it feels like worse than an indie game, and we pay for it…
Indie game devs also provide help with bugs much faster and more often..

I’m so sorry you’re going through this as well, but at the same time I’m honestly happy I’m not alone in this bug. Especially after the ticket response I received ; ;
It never ceases to amaze me how poor the support system is in WoW nowadays, and how many bugs we are supposed to just tolerate… even if they are fairly game breaking.
I sincerely hope they acknowledge this issue and fix it very soon.

I sadly feel the same way, but holding out hope that it will with maintenance tomorrow.
I have sadly lost all hope and goodwill for blizzard.

Yeah… and it’s just draining my will to play, knowing things are so atrociously bugged, and I sincerely have ZERO hope it will be fixed, because we’re TWO people who have reported this issue…

It’s sincerely deperessing to know the game is just entirely broken and they most likely won’t fix it…
And then the fact that people keep suggesting “Go to architect” is just .. annoying.. because yes, ofc I have.
I’ve checked every little bit I can.
My BF logged on and had his Day room unlocked NP - He is house level 3. He didn’t have to do anything.
I have neither Day room nor Evening room - and I am level 6. I’ve checked everything; No fix.
It just won’t get fixed. I know it…

Update in EU as well now, still no fix for this, and no more people reporting the problem besides us still
and sadly GM tickets have been unhelpful in checking if its some bug on the account, a switch they can flip
just getting AI answers, who don’t even seem to read my ticket info provided 
Guess I should just be happy the responses I got were from actual GMs. Even if they were less than helpful. The AI auto responses they usually throw out are the literal worst.
Some day we may get to make a day or night room. 
edit: no idea why the forums updated this one post and not all of them with the name change. Still the same person.

Oh, I seriously doubt my account will ever have access to these 2 rooms unless a Blizz rep makes a post in this thread. I had so very many ideas for how to utilize both of the rooms that are now just not possible even with closing in on rank 8. Just trying to stay a minor bit positive and keep the thread near the top so any browsing Blizz peeps will see it… hopefully.

Have you tried reducing the amount of rooms you have? each room takes up an allotment of space for interior design. I had to delete 3 of my other rooms to be able to use the circular day room. I think this might be your problem.
They are not an option to place. Like not even in the list of rooms available. That’s the issue.
Yes. I have more than necessary in room budget to be able to afford those.
They simply do not show up in room-list for us.
It’s a bug, not a user error, sadly.
