I recieved “Valor of Azeroth” in the Alterac Valley battleground, and tried to boon it ; i was left with a chronoboon buff effect, however it is empty with no buffs inside. This means I cannot unboon at all as I have no active world effects in the chronoboon. I also when i recieve world buffs am unable to boon them as I have an active chronoboon buff. There is no possible way for me to use a chronoboon, or delete the one I am holding — I have a screenshot which better showcases and explains this bug.
TLDR I cannot use any form of chronoboons
You’ll have that on these big jobs. Probably shouldn’t have tried to boon a buff that you shouldn’t have SMH MY HEAD.

yeah i have done everything i can to boon my buffs for raid this week, nothing i do works im just screwed

Come on, dude. Nobody who is level 60 in AV on Anniversary Servers is some freshie who doesn’t know what the ZG and DM world buffs are.

nah it wasnt zg or dm buffs, it was valor of azeroth or somethin like that — it had similar stats to songflower
It’s funny how Blizzard is just rendering them unusable but doesn’t provide insight to people on how to detect anniversary boons vs SoD boons using the AH.

Maybe that’s true in this case but it’s certainly not in all. I didn’t start playing wow until 2019 classic and never got into a BG back then, or a raid. I went to retail after hitting 60 and came back to classic for this. So there are some of us who don’t know these boons. I have no idea what the AV boon is or how to get it and also don’t know what the ZG boon does.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, but I think you’re a significant minority.
Getting to level 60 in Classic is no mean feat, and while the servers have been out for a few weeks, I doubt most casual/uninitiated players have made it to cap in time.
For most players, to be at level 60 and poised to join BGs on release, probably have a pretty solid understanding of the game mechanics. And they aren’t fooling anyone by feigning ignorance about what Chronoboons or World Buffs are when they were caught exploiting them.
Yeah I mean, like I said I just leveled in 2019 and didn’t do anything endgame. We don’t have boons or chronoboons in retail. I do know what chronoboons are now though and did notice them significantly cheaper in AV. Beyond that I didn’t know we were getting more honor than we should have been. Someone else in my group told us.

Man I sure hope you’re able to clear your MC without the world buffs booned. We had to clear with 24 people the other night, I doubt its even possible without full buffs
