I don’t know why I am getting so much resistance from you. I just want to not be a dragon when I am not in combat… Seems to be the point of the spell… regardless of the nuance of GCD’s or spell queues.

You could go to a zone with low level mobs and easily record mounting after killing something repeatedly while showing that chosen identity is active if you want to show that this is happening specifically just to you.
Instead, your source is ‘trust me bro’.
I’ve been playing this class since DF beta and chosen identity has functioned correctly for the entirety.
I think the guy in the other thread hit the nail on the head. There is weirdness when leaving instances. Which is why I leave arena always in dragon.
I think the source is the fact there are multiple threads with this issue and more importantly I would have no reason to sit on the forums arguing with you if it worked. I gain nothing from this convo…
It’s a comprehension issue, not a spell, bug, or tooltip issue. Every single person that has asserted it doesn’t work didn’t read the tooltip or understand the interactions. When that’s been pointed out to them, they disappear.
It’s functioned this same way the entire expansion and isn’t bugged, lol.
Again, link a video of the repeated ‘issue’ you’re experiencing to prove me wrong.
Even if mounting directly after combat were causing an issue (it’s not), it would be because visage is on the gcd. I have tested it well over 50 times and not had it malfunction once.
Blizz must have specifically selected you for it to not work for

I work in software and when multiple customer say something is not working as intended it means we need to revisit the implementation.
Except all the other threads of people disatisfied with the implementation.
Again, just because people complain here doesn’t validate a claim. Especially when it’s proven to be working fine in game.
Not when customers say it’s not working because they can’t read a tooltip. Every single thread has been someone that didn’t understand how CI worked, and they disappear when it’s explained.
It is working as intended until you prove otherwise.

Again, the problem you’re claiming to have is now 100 tests in and it hasn’t happened to me once, let alone every time as you’re claiming.

Bug happens when leaving solo shuffle, skirmish, 2’s, 3’s, and BG’s. Game ends you leave combat and when loading in the next zone you are still Dragon. Result you are in dragonform 100% of the time if you are a PvPer.
Going to submit a bug report. Thank you for the assistance.
Result is you just need to hit visage keybind if this is happening in the meantime if it matters to you.
But yes if that’s happening I’d think they should fix it because it shouldn’t.
What happened to the mount issue, though? Because it very much seems like it’s not a thing.
The mount issue is very much me loading back into the next zone after instanced PvP and first thing hitting the mount button and always noticing I am a dragon on a dragon which IMO looks really dumb lol.
If they took Visage off the GCD I could just macro it.
Until they change their stance on evokers needing to be dragons in combat (unlikely but maybe at some point), I doubt they take it off the gcd as people that didn’t want to look like Dracthyr would macro it to every spell.

it’s not just him as I’ve had this same problem off and on since I started drag, and no I’m not r*tarded, the ability is toggled and no matter if I stop casting at 5% and let my dots tick the target 95% of the time I don’t revert. I know a few others with the issue.
The only thing we share is our use of heal bot so I’ve assumed that’s the issue.
I’ll happily party up and show you since you seem so skeptical. He’s not making it up tho.

There’s really no need since you’ve already identified you’re doing it to yourself with an addon as it’s not a widespread bug (or a bug at all).

They’re removing it from the gcd and other interactions. That’s their bug work around. It shouldn’t be getting canceled/not work the way it does.
That was nothing more than a guess so I removed HB to check but same issue. I never really cared much, but it would be nice to have it working.
It being on gcd was never the problem for me. The problem is I like being a dragon and refuse to use visage.
