Hey all I’m retiring from tanking after 19 years of it and I’m choosing to go rogue hopefully not a bad choice 
anyway can anyone point me in the direction of good streamers or YouTube people to help me understand rogue better or even people here to help me understand the differents in specs and how it is to play them all

Play a 4 button class with a rez or hero you’ll be happier for it.

Okay look up Whispyr on YT. Pretty sure he writes the Rogue guide on WoWhead also. You’ll also see him in the Rogue discord.
I wouldn’t gear the Rogue until after the 22nd, you’ll have way more QoL and tankiness after the patch.

Not sure if you’re being serious or not.
Rogue is extremely difficult to play right now and I don’t see it getting any easier with the upcoming “changes.” Assassination seems to be doing okay in Mythics and Raids now but you really have to be on top of your game.
I’ve been trying to make Sub work in PvP and I’m coming to find it’s pretty bad in Shuffle unless you have teammates you can setup and know how to play with you.
If you like the stealth mechanic I’d probably play Feral unless you have friends who you play with regularly.
