Admins usually don’t reply to threads, sorry. But they might see your suggestion for change
It’s true, the fossil mix state allows players to become the war meat grinder.
They could add a 1h cooldown to petri, this would solve your problem and simultaneously make hardcore raiding way more hardcore.
Honestly I wouldn’t be upset if they added a 1h cd to all flasks. While one can argue that using multiple flasks is a viable strategy, I think its more a unfixed issue because it wasn’t abused enough, and not really something that improves the game (like chugging wisdom flask for mana just feels cheesy).
Have you been to classic era servers?
You have never been to a server in China. The PVP concept of Chinese servers is different from that of American servers. There is no solo PVP in outdoor maps, only one purpose: to kill the opponent by all means and win
The current 1.153 classic era has been modified beyond recognition and is no longer a vanilla server. The skill revolution CD has become faster, and the control skill time is unstable. It’s a stupid version and there are still many bugs that I haven’t posted yet
If you were not playing in the major faction of a server during Classic WoW, that is exactly the experience that we had.
Only Benediction, Faerlina and Grobbulus pre-TBC weren’t like this.
Only ERA doesn’t need to upgrade equipment It’s more comfortable
If this website could upload videos, it would be great to show everyone how abnormal it is for PVP to use fossil chemicals
They never should have increased spawn rates of Black Lotus
You have to reach a certain forum level before you can post media links.
Is it the forum level or the character level in the game
Pretty sure it’s just forum level related.
forum level, which goes up as you create posts, and down if your posts are reported
Team battles are suppressed by fossils every day, resulting in deaths and running corpses
Lol bro just 2 weeks ago I was suggesting to a ret paladin to use flask of petrification to get to hoj number 2 without taking any damage, who was using zero consumes/trinkets/tools fighting shamans on video talking about they are unbeatable.
You guys told me I was insane for even suggesting flask of petrification.
Then this post pops up…
All I gotta say, is welcome to classic client pvp. Good use of mechanics.
Now the RMT part? Yes that concerns me, but vanilla pvp is 80% how you prepare for fights and personally, flask of petrification is “good use of ingame mechanics”
The rmt part does need to go though.
Getting a warlock summon during petri is hilarious though. Equivalent to bubble hearthing tbh. Nothing wrong here.
You know, you could just spend a few hours in game making some gold to buy these potions right? You guys know these potions have been available for 20 years right? You guys realize it’s literally a 60 second iceblock right? You guys know mages sit in iceblock for CDs to come off right?
Nothing wrong here rmt is gonna rmt this is on blizzard.
The gold coins you earn through hard work in the game cannot be used to buy fossil potions because it goes against the most basic logic of human nature. Only coins obtained through easy RTM are willing to buy fossil potions and drink hundreds of bottles every day without feeling heartbroken
Even if the drop rate of Black Lotus is minimized, there will still be wealthy people buying PVP because this is a characteristic of Chinese servers, do you understand
Yes I understand my friend, but era is also 5 years old, and flooded with GDKP.
I’m sure not every flask user is RMT user.
Attack RMT but not the flask please.
edit: also… Personally, I am a player who plays classic 90% for pvp. Once I am fully naxx geared and obtain all my trinkets, the only thing left to do outside pvp is to farm gold for consumables. (or run gdkps to pay for pvp consumables)
It is no surprise to see a fully kitted pvper in ERA and it should be expected at 5 years in a servers lifetime. Popping a flask every fight just means the player is a prepared pvper. For someone who is a pvp main, if I have 20k gold, and I have everything else purchased on that character, enchants, mounts, everything, it should be no surprise that I spend my 20k on just pvp consumables, since I am only playing, to pvp, my gold can and will go to, just pvp.
Most true pvp mains do these activities:
- Run GDKP for pvp consumes
- Have 3 or 4 seperate level 60s for farming purposes, to craft pvp items, and to farm their own materials for consumables
- Spend a TON of gold on engineering + blacksmith for grenades and fear immunity.
- Has a community of pvp oriented players who do janky mechanics like summoning them during petrification. (come on, that’s hilarious man)
Back in 2005 when anyone would ask me what is the sole purpose of wpvp? To kill everyone, while never actually dieing, and for the server to recognize that. So I honestly cannot blame anyone for petri-summoning. It’s insanely smart and personally I would have used the same mechanics if I knew it existed back in OG vanilla.
Rmt is the problem
Consumes is the meta and not the problem. Just because someone drinks a potion in game doesn’t automatically mean they are RMT users.
Fossil mixtures are the existence of bugs, When ERA was launched in 2009, no one discovered the gameplay of Fossil Mix, but it was discovered and utilized by players starting in 2022 We need to find ways to improve the game. Continuous improvement is a necessary condition for making progress, otherwise Blizzard will remain stuck at version 1.12
Outoftables I don’t think you recognise the condition of RMT on chinese servers, and why this poster has come here asking for help.
Classic on CN servers are a business. People dedicate their entire lives to farming and selling gold. Not a group of young adults in indonesia paying for necessities, rich and well-to-do business people. CN players come to play NA and EU classic to escape their server and RMT, hi Whitemane and your guilds that transfer off to Mankrik only to bring their GDKP and RMT with them then fight everyone in trade chat.
It is not the same, you’ll never earn enough gold in game to petri-flask like these players do.
That’s right, the PVP concepts in China and the United States are different, and RTM transactions are also officially recognized
The situation created is that wealthy players can carry a full buff to kill poor players
