With more space they could indeed invite more people. Emails are usually delayed but there was clearly something not configured correctly since the servers shutdown almost as soon as they were up.
I have not heard anyone getting an email. I think all the people who had access and didn’t before was an error
They said they met their current beta population, not that they wouldn’t invite more in the future. Could be another wave, could not be. Just wait.
I could be mistaken on this, but a few beta testers have confirmed it. Check your accounts on battle.net and see if you have wow5 as a ptr account. The beta testers I have talked to said that WoW5 is the beta, WoW3 is the stress test.

Emails can take a while. The launcher is the first indicator usually.
My stress invite came after I had the client installed.

On my Bnet I have PTR and Beta listed above the live servers, and of those I have my old original one with an actual name, then WOW1, WOW2, WOW3, and WOW4.
so my understanding is that they accidentally left the beta open to those who were in stress tests i believe. so they had to shut down to fix… rip
Well then someone messed up my invite cause mone has said 5 since the first stress test.
Hmmm… most people’s access to even the stress test was gone shortly afterwards. They should just let the people who they invited in by mistake stay in for Pete’s sake.

The ones I talked to did not have any PTR accounts, like I said I could be wrong, but 4 different beta accounts have told me the same thing.
My Stress Test & Beta client is totally gone now, only thing there is PTR

-shrugs- makes no difference to me no invite to either. i just want an open beta, but now im just feeding into my salt so im gonna leave the forums for a few days again i think… but we will see how long that lasts.
