14 years is a relatively short time considering the universe is 8 billion years old!

Except there are only two facts in this thread, the rest is filler opinion.

1.) Blizzard doesn’t ban cheaters.

2.) Blizzard suspends cheaters.

They ban them if the suspensions don’t work, it just takes for ever.

What i don’t understand is why are the ban waves (or suspension waves) so rare? They should be happening monthly or bimonthly … not once every expansion pack.

This probably turns alot of players off from playing the game especially if they enjoy farming materials and such as people may find that fun.

Oh well! like i said… let the sub counts do the talking and maybe one day they may figure it all out /shrug

Many humans also utilise click to move functions. I know a guy who played with only one arm using a Naga. There are infinite possibilities and you cannot assume just because they do one thing that they are a bot.

Some also say the earth is 2019 years old. Most actually most say humanity is 6000 years old as that is what is written in the bible, they say nothing about how old the earth is. It is people who assume they are meaning the earth to try and make them look bad.

And it is the same people who try to pull apart posts to try and make an argument when none is needed, or make assumptions based on one piece of evidence.

I’ve started to believe that it is more important to keep bot accounts active and generating income than it is to ban or suspend them. We have all heard about how the financial arm of Activision is pushing for more money-making developments and I really can’t see them being happy at the idea of accounts being shut down and the income from them being lost.

I personally think their attitude is becoming “Well they don’t actually harm anything so let them do it until it actually becomes harmful, if it ever does”.

Its a sad situation when I start to become so disillusioned with the people who run what has been my favorite pastime for 10 years…

Exactly … in the end though all they will have left that plays the game…

is the bots.

Sure looks like that is the route they are going… because really … do they need to “study” 5000 bots?

A source on this, that it was nearly all the same cheaters, would have appropriate here. Seeing it’s not public knowledge, you should have shown where you got a hold of that information.

My friend had a few accounts that was multi-boxed and botting at the same time. Only one was flagged and banned permanently. I did ask him, and he said he checked, still banned. So it’d be almost 3 years since he lost just one account.

He still plays, I still avoid grouping with him online. We just play card game or D&D type board when we do get together. Supposedly because he bots randomly and semi-infrequently he wasn’t caught when he started in BC until about half way through Draenor and still hasn’t lost his other bot accounts.

So it’s proof that not all account that gets caught gets just 6 months suspension but few do get perma banned.

Not many, a very small population of disabled players and a very large population of bots.
