Chat Disabled Message/ AH server taking too long to respond

I believe new restrictions were being placed since November, especially if your account age might not be up to date, if your over 18 this should not affect you.

Can you check to see if chat is disabled in the options?

The message sounds like an age restriction. New laws and regulations kick in all the time and it is possible that your account indicates that it qualifies to have those restrictions turned on.

Are you able to update your chat settings? The message you said you received indicates you should be able to.
